Personally I think they are fucking great.

I think the players seem like pretty like a self aware and funny group. Looks to me that they are aware that they are pretty silly which is what makes them really endearing and funny. And the fact that they keep doing them shows that they don't give a shit about what anybody else thinks, which is a great sign.

Other fans and pundits obviously fail to see the funny side, but I was wondering what you lot thought.

I love the togetherness it represents, but I still cringe a bit every time I see it.

I'm old enough to remember when a goal celebrations was a handshake since when we've been through hugs and kisses leaping into the crowd and gymnastic displays so a fun choreographed hand shake seems ok to me.
I bet the "kids" love it.

In reality, yeah they are professional footballers and great athletes, but also, many of them are not fully grown men yet, but in the younger stages of adulthood. In light of that, let them have whatever innocent fun that binds them together.

Keano' cartwheel celebration was awesome you FILTHY BLASPHEMER!:eek:

A cartwheel on par with the efforts of a 5 year old, a roly-poly of a 3 year old, then the pistols for the grand finale, horrendous :p

Best bit was he didn't just get it out of the locker on the odd occasion for a laugh, he did it every single goal as if it was something of wonder :ROFLMAO:

I love it personally, like someone said it shows a good togetherness and these things can help.

I love it, all started last season with Son and then it just gradually got bigger. It's a unique celebration they players have between themselves and if it helps the team to bond more then that's great. The celebrations i despise are the self focused crap like what Ronaldo does by purposefully running to a particular area and then starts flexing.

I'd be more concerned if they were doing it for consolation goals. The fact that we are among the top scorers and they're all doing their jobs well, they could drop their shorts and blow each other after each goal for all I care*

*Dier and Dele - This was a joke.

Nothing will come close to that twat Sturridge and his annoying celebration so it doesn't bother me lol

I like his celebration, I'd imagine a lot find this handshake stuff equally 'cheesy'.

I like them both, very few celebrations bug me, Kane needs a proper one though.

Saw my kids doing their own versions when playing footy in the back garden. Much rather them do this than the finger to mouth or cupped ears which could be deemed aggressive/disrespectful (not that they've got thousands of opposition fans baying for blood!!!)

Surprised the club aren't using it as a marketing initiative....;-)
