Unsurprisingly, FIFA announced this morning that the Honduras team is indeed under investigation for match fixing.

Judging Abraham off this Euros is akin to other fans judging Kane off last years Euros. Abraham is a quality striker and should he get his chance in the PL I think he will score goals. How good he eventually will become is unknown but he is a big talent.
As I was mentioning him.in our thread thought I'd find one of my old.posts praising him.

Really.pleased for Abraham. Hope he goes far but not at the expense of Spurs of course. I think as more eyes will be on him he will surprise a lot of people with how skillful he can be. I think a lot assume he's just a big lump who's a bit of a taping merchant. Hes very skillful and excellent at bringing players into play.

Glad to see him start to find his feet especially after some of the racial abuse he faced.

Also additionally.pleased for Mount who's another I've followed for so long and taking so well. I said after his season in the eredivisie he should be in the Prem as players like Kluivert who was seemingly rated higher got go Roma. Mount went Derby as Chelsea as standard didnt look to promote from within. But as expected their embargo could be their blessing in disguise. So many players they've missed out on that could have been better than any signings, and now they're forced to.use their academy. If it didn't happen it likely would've been a case of, if they were good enough they would be played as the manager would've spent a load of.money to avoid taking risk on em. All of their goals have been scored by academy players this year, and 3 different ones. Trust the youth. Hope they integrate James now.

Then we use start using more of our own.

I said it at the time, but the transfer ban was the best thing that could have happened to Chelsea in the long run. Annoyingly.

Tbf they dont have to play them so respect to Chelsea for doing it. We didn't buy a player for 2 windows and I think made a few appearances. They've only missed one so far and got 3 regularly playing in their first team. And they still had Pulisic join them this window.

Definitely should get a lot more credit than they will do but I dont doubt the transfer ban has nudged them into it.

As always say they just need an opportunity. They dont get chances, then its, what have they done since they left? None are world class so not.like we missed out on any. Plus they won trophies all the while talented players are lost. It's a shame so many disappeared but hopefully the 3 playing continue, RLC gets back in and CHO and James show their ability too.

Said I wanted to sign Abrahams last summer when there were some rumours he was available. You don’t score as many goals as he did in the championship at him age without being a good player.

Pulisic plus Kovacic is two new players signed. This is never mentioned as it spoils the story.

Ye. There is this strong narrative that Chelsea have been forced. Maybe their ability to buy has been restricted but they still have more players join their EL winning squad and top 4 squad than we did. And yet have still attempting to introduce 3 players from their academy into it. So fair play to them. Considering all the stick they have got they've got in a manager they have tasked to do it and he is really trying their best. Not many have an excuse if they are doing this.

they have reece james back from injury now too so they could actually end up with a starting 11 soon where more than half of them are academy produced, which would be an incredible feat to be fair. once james gets going at chelsea i don't think it will be too long until people start talking about him in terms of england recognition, he has a lot more to his game than wan-bissaka imo.

Have to say that the England U21s have some serious talent available; see Oliver Skipp got on which is great for the lad!
