My guess is he's cover for Sissoko - relatively same position. Bruno would have to be the Eriksen replacement.

Ah, hopefully. I reckon Lo Celso is the designated Eriksen replacement. I'd be over the moon if we'd sign Bruno though.

Guys, I’m in full-on detective mode as I try to learn about this guy in the span of about 15 minutes. He’s known for being pretty nippy in midfield (saw him called “tigerish” in one report which is really cool, who doesn’t want a tiger in midfield?). He’s also got a good range of passing to pair with being able to dribble through midfield. A box-to-box type that should be paired with, YOU GUESSED IT, a defensive midfielder in a Midfield 2. Pretty versatile, too, as he pops up out wide on both sides of the pitch when playing in a free role. Looks like a nice player to work with as far as I’m concerned.

A number on here seem nonplussed by this possibility. Out of curiosity, those that have watched him play a few times, why do you feel he isn’t good enough? Moreover, at 21, has he already hit his ceiling and can’t get any better?

Wasn’t he being touted as a massive young talent last season? He has two caps for the senior Portuguese national team already. With the falling out with his coach and then just wanting to loan him seems like a quality punt on a young reclamation project.

Yeah, fantastic potential in FM2019. Maybe they see him as long-term Sissoko replacement(can play as box-to-box and right winger), but it would be stupid to not insert buy-out clause.

Can anyone actually offer any insight as to what type of player this kid is? Or why did he fall out with the Benfica manager?

He looks like a younger version of Ndombele and given the state of our central midfield he would be a very welcome signing. I know he’s not a DM but Mourinho said he wants 2 players for every position... GF would be TN’s competition.

Very highly rated about 12 months ago. Haven’t seen enough of him to give an opinion on him. Meant to be very quick, but not rapid. Skilful player from what I have seen.

Plenty of things to complain about with Levy, but he's always on top of small things like that. I’m sure it will be worked out.

Hmm, reckon we're bringing him in on loan instead of buying Soumare and putting the cash into Fernandes plus whoever else

I think midfield Ndombele-Lo Celso-Gedson could work, but I won't forgive Levy buying him not Florentino Luis.
