EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham to run rule over Gabriel Reuben during trial
TOTTENHAM are running the rule over Nigerian midfielder Gabriel Reuben.

Reuben is a free agent after terminating his contract at Kilmarnock following a series of disputes with the Scottish Premier League club.
StarSport understands Reuben, 23, has been invited to train with Spurs.
The 23 year-old helped Nigeria qualify for this summer's World Cup and is expected to be part of their squad for the tournament in Brazil.

He's gotten 2 games for Kilmarnock and's playing in a position, DMF, where Spurs have a dearth of talent. It doesn't add up. Oh, wait a minute...he's available on a free.... Levy wise that may add up then ;)

Presumably we let people train at Spurs without it meaning they're having a trial. It seems like we often get a few MLS players around the lane in their offseason, but we've never tried to sign any of them. This is probably a journo putting 2 and 2 together incorrectly. He's probably training at the lane, as we often let some out of contract players do (probably for a fee or because we know his agent), but I'd be very surprised if he's actually training with the first team or being given a serious trial.

Well, our U21 team isn't doing too well this season.
Could use an overage player to beef it up.

Bongani Khumalo / Simon Dawkins.
Not sure whether we made any money out of their loans, but cant see any other reason we kept them on our books.

Tony Harris: "Gabriel was due to continue (Spurs) training on Monday but we received a good offer for him late Sunday." #thfc 1/3
  2. Player's agent Tony Harris: "We had to pull him out abruptly. Everything was done amicably and Spurs will have first refusal on Reuben." 2/3
