I never thought I’d be saying/suggesting this but Ange really should consider a back 3 if he’s going to continue insisting our full backs play like wingers. We’d concede a considerable amount less if we had an extra body back.

I am absolutely not suggesting we should’ve kept Dier but he played as a hybrid CB/DM under Poch and I think someone like that would be perfect in this side.

There's merit in sticking with your philosophy but it's also advantageous to have a plan B. I'm not sure what shape should be the alternative, but I do think we should have one.

Their runs off the ball have been mesmeric. We're struggling to track them and just giving the ball away when we do.

It also helps because they know they'll have lots of space behind Udogie and Porro too. There's even been a lot of space in behind the midfield too where neither Sarr nor Bissouma are to be seen.

Just a lot of open space we're affording them at times and we're not compensating with our attacking play at the moment.
