Of course it is. Much more important in the long run, and much more enjoyable to have Champions League nights than chasing cups but actually mean very little except for a day the sun.
Unless you have one day in the sun per generation

And this is where we will be again, should we get a couple of injuries - we have had a good start, but this just proves how poor we are outside our 1st 11.

Skipp and Hojbjerg is a very boring midfield pairing

I'm not sure how much of this is down to the quality of these second string players, and how much down to the fact that they've barely played together. Possibly both and.

Yeah, Sanchez, Hojbjerg, even Skipp, looking lost out there.

Richarlison really needs to hold the ball up. He’s awful at it. But we need him to be strong.

Like the team, it’s going to take some time for the fans too, especially those on here!
Conte left a really bad smell and it’s going to be awhile before we recover.
I get that totally…regardless of the manager, squad, place in league/cup etc there’s always the bed wetting in this thread…but yet I’m still here!

Of course it is. Much more important in the long run, and much more enjoyable to have Champions League nights than chasing cups but actually mean very little except for a day the sun. At least that's how it looks to someone who lives abroad, and doesn't share the obsession for domestic cup success.

I don't disagree about the CL. But it doesn't have to be either or. Even when them lot up the road were missing the CL year after year they still managed to get an FA Cup.

We just have to hope we hang on at 1-0 till halftime. This lot doesn't look like they could score in a brothel

Trying to utilise the squad…yeah fuck Ange!
The problem is the all or nothing approach though - Conte used to either pick the first team or a second team. I’d much rather rotate 3-4 and then mix in a couple against Burnley and Sheffield United than this wholesale swap

Ange has dropped a bollock here, we’re up against a PL team, we should have started stronger IMO.

We should play better, but at the same time its too many changes. Only Micky and Richy started last game.

Very bored of managers moronically thinking they can chuck in 7/8 players who’ve yet to start a game and thinking it’ll all be okay. We haven’t won anything for years and years and we arrogantly put out these rotated lineups and get knocked out of domestic cups. We’re not even in Europe, can’t be telling me players can’t cope with an extra few games before Christmas. Really frustrating.
