Think that midfield is a big drop off in terms of their on ball ability than Biss,Sarr,JM.
Like the front 3, Hopefully enough to get the win.

Wow. A lot of changes. And never a fan of "cup keepers" tbh. Hope it works out this time. I'd like to have a real tilt at a cup this season.

Nervous AF at that side tbh.

Fulham away always brings back memories of that FA Cup win in the chocolate kit and Keane having a belter.

Was this the one where Mido tried a back pass from basically the half way line back to Robinson and proper hoofed in it, Robinson basically making a save from his own player 😄 I just remember both his and Midos faces afterwards 😂

All the players to come in are our immediate backups to the first XI, so we're definitely not wasting minutes on players we don't need

Well - a bit harsh considering that Bissouma, Sarr and Maddison would be one of the top midfield trios in the entire league - particularly on form this season.

But, Skipp, PEH, and Lo Celso have enough about them to make this system work.

I don't think Skipp is good enough for anything other than an emergency squad player. Sanchez too. Neither should be starting. I'm prepared to accept Ange may improve them.
If Fulham go full strength I'm not optimistic. If they don't, our reserves are better than theirs.

9 changes…. He’s done what every other previous manager has done and often been blasted for. Maybe we’ll be fine because of the football we play now but that’s a risk and if we do lose will he be blasted for not taking a cup seriously?

I do still think we’ll win though, especially with that bench.

3 away games in the space of 7 days - we were always going to rotate for this one. This early in the season just risks an injury - particularly for the positions that have to put in a lot of running (i.e. all of them except the CBs and GK).

Maximum effort from the players coming in today and we should be fine.

If we lose, it won't be because Ange did not take it seriously.

Sanchez and VdV will be important today - Fulham bringing some pace.

Skippy is always solid, if not spectacular. His 2 goals at Barça showed that he knows where to be, and when to be there.

Really surprised at that team. Fulham are reasonably strong.
Has Forster got something in his contract to play these games….
this will be a close game.

When is the last time that a "top" team did not play the back-up keeper in domestic Cup matches - early rounds?

If Forster is going to be the back-up keeper, its important to keep him engaged and sharp throughout the season.
