That's really awful, thoughts go out to the family. I'm sure the club will do something at the next home game.

A shame.
It can happen so fast.
A few months ago a man sat next to me at a train
station, literally 35 seconds after he sat down I was giving him
CPR.
I just about kept him alive till the paramedics arrived
15 minutes later. No idea if he made it, and I guess I never will.
He also cracked his head on the concrete when he fell so I had
to deal with the sight of his head bleeding while I did it.
It's up there with one of the worst experiences of my life.

Sounds like you gave someone a fighting chance mate, however it turned out. Nice one!

Absolutely terrible story. RIP sir.

From an atmosphere point of view, it was the first day back at work for a lot of people - midweek games are always quieter (unless it's against the big boys) and in truth it was just an awful game of football.

That said, it's still a terrible piece of news. Well done Peter for keepin calm. Top stuff fella.

I saw it down in the Paxton Lower, I did fear the worst when you could clearly see CPR being given for quite some time. RIP yido!

We could see the CPR being done from Park lane lower, as others have said it didn't look good the amount of time they were working. Could also see that they had allowed one other person (possibly a child) to stay close by.

If the outcome was indeed the worst possible then RIP Sir :(

I sit in the shelf and could clearly see CPR being given.
What a horrific thing, I struggled to concentrate on the game after that and it has been on my mind since. I was praying he was ok. Terribly sad news though.

My Mum had a heart attack 18 months ago, it's a very scary scenario. I just thank God she was ok!

when my time comes, if it could be at the Lane, watching Spurs in full flight, in the company of my family and surrounded by 30,000 yids, I could ask for nothing more. Hopefully his family can take some small comfort from the fact that he passed away in a manner that I'm sure he would have chosen too. My heartfelt condolences to the family and RIP yiddo.

RIP, very bad news, thoughts go out to him/her and his/her family..

I was in park lane lower, block 35 and didn't hear anything about it. I dont think our atmosphere reflected that, as it wasnt as though everyone knew about it.

Atmosphere was pretty good until the stewards kept pestering us about sitting. Paxton was silent as usual, but Im not surprised I had 3 families sat around me and they were dead silent.

I'll keep hoping until it's confirmed. Thoughts are with the family whatever.

Peter the Yid, great stuff man. Don't how to give rep but you've got all mine virtually. As I get older I grow more cynical but I'd like to think that there are more people like you around.
