Europa Group Stage Draw

Not to get ahead of ourselves, I've just noticed the Champions League draw is being done.

I thought they drew the CL and Europa groups at the same time on a Friday?

Have I just imagined that?

Also, I'm just remembering how fucking excited I was by the CL draw this time last year. Think that was one of the highlights of my Spurs supporting career! Happy days... a far cry from where we are today!

Think the Europa League draw is tomorrow, not 100% sure though. But they haven't mentioned it during the CL draw broadcast, so i guess it isn't today.

I remember the CL draw from last year - ecstatic to get Inter because they're not a million miles away from where I now live, and it's very very rare these days that I get to see Spurs (happily I made it to the San Siro).
Before that I went to see us at Udinese in 2008, my newly local club. I'd managed to get a few friends and colleagues to come along and witness the wonder that is Spurs, but ended up being thoroughly let down by a truly awful performance - fittingly Ramos' last.
Hope we get Udinese again this year, though they're a tricky little team, big shame they couldn't fin ish the Arse off last night.

Think it would be for the best at this stage to save everyone a lot of silly time spent fannying about playing football on Thursday nights and just abandon the Europa League now, awarding the trophy based purely on coefficients.

PSG have been nothing special so far in Ligue 1. They still need to settle and gel.

Want to avoid as many eastern european teams as possible.

Selfishly would love a trip to Germany again and would rather have Schalke than Hannover but probs best to avoid them.

Lazio certaily should be avoided as well.
