That's exactly how I feel. I was genuinely sympathetic towards Eduardo and wouldn't wish that on anyone but that sympathy has now been consumed by my dislike for that stupid French jizbot.

Sadly the Arsenal loving media will agree with him and Taylor will probably cop a massive ban. But really someone should be punishing Wenger for saying something so unbelievably misguided.

wenger is a *****. only word for him, he is the one that should b banned fo comments like that. That tackle is nowhere near as bad as eboues last week, its a late challenge early in the game, there was no intent. wenger you twat, f*ck off

it does remind me of Luc Nillis's injury for Villa against Ipswich that ended his career, maybe in part due to his age though. its never nice to see that sort of injury, he is a good player, euro qualifying 12 shots on target 12 goals. shame it weren't eboue if it had to happen

We had this same thing when Diaby had his ankle broken against Sunderland two seasons ago. Wenger went off on one then, conveniently forgetting that Diaby had put Campo out for a couple of months in virtually his first appearance for the Scum. Masturbating fool.

Occasionally I need to read a thread like this to remind me how young and scarily immature some of the people on this forum are. The comments that this horrible injury is a 'good' thing because he plays for a club you don't like are very sad.

I'm not young or immature, I just hate Arsenal. Is fancying Arsenal players a sign or reaching maturity? I don't think it is.

I did feel quite upset after it happened. Upset that there were still 10 Arsenal players on the pitch that weren't lying on the floor with stomach-turning, career-threatening injuries.

I think you are the one who needs to grow up and stop being so self-righteous. If you want to go to a gooner love-in there are plenty available over at Arsenal-mania.com... I think I stick to supporting spurs.

If it makes you feel better, it happened nearly 20 years ago and he was back training 4 days later. Those hockey players are hard bastards.

Mate, that's ridiculous. I hate Arsenal as much as you, but that's on a footballing level. On a personal level, how could you possibly say you're happy to see someone like Eduardo getting their leg broken like that? For fuck's sake, because he wears a red and white shirt you hope he's in immense pain and his career is ruined? I mean it's not like he's even one of the hateable Arsenal players, he's a good footballer and he's done nothing to suggest he's not a decent person. He's still a human being ffs.

I can't believe how sick that made me feel earlier, watching the Ice Hockey vid. I never normally care about anything like that :? I used to visit Rotton.com daily... I'm completely desensitized to most things, so it's very odd that it did that to me.

Believe it or not, it happened again earlier this month :)

Note: This vid is less nasty than the other one

Needless to say if it was an Birmingham player with that injury Wenger wouldn't have seen it...

"It goes with the idea that to stop Arsenal you have to kick Arsenal and that kind of thing was waiting to happen"

Again, he obviously doesn't remeber Gallas kicking Nani last week, or the many attempts at opponent decapitation by Eboue this season...

Same, I actually felt sick. And then I felt ok, and read up about it on Wikipedia...and I feel sick again.

Horrible horrible injury.

I'll be amazed if he walks properly on that leg again let alone kick a ball.

Don't really think that Taylor should be made out to be a complete villain though. Didnt look too malicious to me.

Harsh injury to happen to any player no matter which club they're at. Wish him all the best in recovery and playing again.

But all seriousness of the injury aside...

Anyone who's played at any level will feel some sympathy.

But put it in context................

A pro-footballer, on huge amounts of money, living the totally cosseted lifestyle of todays modern Prem' player. Now looking at 6mth+ out injured, the world's very best medical attention and given time to make full recovery, whilst still recieving his £35k+ pw throughout.

Even worse case scenario, a career cut short ( no doubt heartbreaking) big insurance payout, no physical disability & financially set for life.

Spot on re the manager

The you tube links gone now so haven't seen the actual incident to see if there was any intent, but why does he only make comments about other teams and seem to miss his own players thuggery ????

Re the player, although he plays for them he's a great talent so wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery
