Probably can’t because of very limited funds and not seen as a priority.

Loan him to where though?

I doubt Palace or Fulham would be happy loaning a player for a year when they were trying to buy him outright as they would ultimately be buying him with the vision that he'd eventually go for 50m+. With a loan, yes they get the player but in a year's time they'd need to replace him but without the financials to do it.

Also, woukd Eze want to be loaned out? It hardly screams "we bought you because we believe in your ability" and he may prefer to go to a club who are looking to prioritise his development and game time.

I doubt their fans know any more than ours, but I suppose within realm of possibility that selling Tanguy could result in change in approach here.

I'm sure he has about as much knowledge as we do but thought it was interesting that their ITKs were saying we had gone back in for him......still don't know if this is true or not or how reputable they are but thought I would share.
I see leeds as a good move for him though and fits with info from our side

I could see us keeping this alive for a while as a fallback option, even if he isn't Jose's preferred signing I'm sure he wouldn't be mad to get him and other deals always might fall through. At least with Eze it sounds like we know what it will take to get both player and club to agree - will he wait for us over a Leeds/Spam/Villa? I reckon he might, at least for now.
