Been mentioned by Duncan Castles and Ally Gold - now here as well:

Almeira’s Darwin Nunez is on the list but Spurs face competition from Brighton to land the £15 million-rated Uruguayan.

Absolutely no idea on this kid, but I’m scared we’ll end up with Troy Deeney so yes please

£15m? I thought they already turned down several bids around £20m and are wanting £24m for him.

This kind of flies in the face of our transfer strategy so far this summer. We have been targeting proven players from other premier league teams (or ones recently relegated.)

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of him, so have no idea if he would fit or not. Anyone seen him play?

This was talked about in the Transfer Window podcast last week. He’s been “offered” to Spurs but nothing more. I looked at his YouTube highlights and damn it’s impressive. But arent they all. He’s tall and fast and strong.

Considering the last Uruguayan striker we could have got I think we must sign this guy, despite never seeing him live.
Just fact he’s mobile and young puts him above all the other average homegrown strikers we’ve been linked with.

So we are being linked with a striker that most people freely admit the have never seen play? And that they’d rather have them than some “average” homegrown player? Or players who know the league wow ???

Nah not for £25m. I’d expect them to be scouted by our paid employees though and I’d be amazed if we can’t find a better striker than Troy Deeney, Josh King and Chris Wood. Hamstrung by homegrown issues though, we’d laugh at other top clubs if they signed any of these strikers we’re being linked with.

Got a spare 25m?

As it's not an option for a first team regular starter I'd rather take a risk on him than some bog standard player like Wilson or King. Obviously depends on price but I'm assuming won't be too high
