His season is done, he will be hurting about sitting out these next three matches but he will learn from it.

If this was a rival player we would all be going rabid to get him banned and he probably will get banned. It's really a nothing tap though, Yacob wasn't even bothered.

Most likely. Shame. But he needs to learn that players will wind him up every game. He's a kid; fantastic season, just a shame

It's about time. Someone has to teach him a lesson. There's nothing wrong with being combative but he is a complete prick about it a lot of the time - pushing players into the boards when the ball is out of play for instance, needless stuff that could potentially injure someone. Unless it happens to him or he gets a ban for it it won't stop, because Poch clearly can't coach it out of him.

Ban him now since the title charge is done anyways and CL is more or less in the bag.

Stupid thing to do.

I'm more concerned about Dier being potentially out for the last few games though.
Yeah, Dier is much more important...it's even worse if Poch picks Mason to deputize for him, Mason is a disaster. We lose the midfield every time he is on the field, even against a crap team like WBA in the few minutes he was on.

Should absolutely get banned. I'm all for him showing aggression on the pitch but he's lashed out at people seemingly unprovoked all season. Theres a time and a place and he needs to learn.

Stupidly him and he'll know it. A real shame is season ends tonight and makes it a little bit harder for us to secure 2nd or 3rd!

Ban would be harsh. Yacob was provoking him and it was only a little hook to the mid rift.

Controversial but I thought he could of used a bit more force.

Don't think a ban would do him much harm, probably been coming to be fair. He needs to understand that he's now a name and people will try and kick him out the game, as West Brom tried. He's young, hopefully he'll learn.

It could potentially hurt us more than it hurts him.
