I was gonna start a thread asking the same question, all i can say is after watching england on the tv wednesday night and seeing Wembley knowing i'll be there in a couple of weeks gave me goose pimples. Bring on the 24th!!!

Maybe we could have a SC meet up for all those who are going from here???

just so everyone knows we have all the pubs around wembley. there is no chance of being outnumbered anywhere. they will be a good 50,000 yids at wembley come 24th.

Yeah, we should definitely have an official SC meeting place / pub. I work near Baker Street so I know all the pubs round here but I think I'd rather go somewhere nearer the stadium. Has anyone been to the new Wembley and know a good spot?

Okay, here's the choices as far as I can see them.

Baker Street

The Globe, opposite the station
The Metropolitan, right next to the station
The Bok Bar, a regular haunt of mine, on Blandford Street
The Union, on George Street

King's Cross
The Dolphin, the pub I drink in pre-Ar5ena1 away

Harrow

The Fat Controller

As far as I know there is only one pub near Wembley, but the old bill close it down early when there are games on I believe.

There's also Finchley Road Walkabout.

I've asked where my mates will be drinking, will post when I have an answer.

Harrow's probably got the biggest collection of pubs close to Wembley, but I can't imagine that there will be alot of Spurs fans there. Firstly because hardly any Spurs fans live there (compared to the big 4) and secondly because for most people it would mean going further out of London.

Don't think you'll get much of an atmosphere, but I could be wrong.

Okay, so Baker Street it is.

The Metropolitan is probably a good bet because it's pretty big and is a Wetherspoons so everyone knows what to expect. Plus really easy to find from the tube.

On the other hand there's The Hobgoblin on Balcombe Street, which has a downstairs area we could pack with SCers. Or there's The Windsor Castle on Park Road, but I only really want to go there because I get a 10% discount :)

hi all,

1st time poster here and lifelong yid fan. For those unluckly enough not to be able to get tickets for the cup final (ie. myself), can anyone recommend any yid friendly pubs in central london to catch the game???

Never met any fellow SC'ers before in the real world. So do we all wear pictures of our avatars or screen names? :)

No. But you should wear a hang a pink handkerchief out your right back trouser pocket. And shout 'Heil Hitler' 3 times upon arrival. Everyone does it.

The Metropolitan sounds good then unless we hear different
