Weirdly he was known for his defending at Benfica. He’s clearly not built on that, and he’s become a rapid dribbler who lacks defensive instinct and aggression like you said.

Bayern mentality is so remarkable. At 4-2 they could have dropped morale. We would, alot of other teams would, and remained so passive, inviting more pressure.

Yet they continue to play and attack and press. 5-2 dealt Barca with an even heavier blow. I don't think there is any chance at all Barca can score three goals to even bring the match now to extra time.

Hansi flick has def gotten the best out of him, he’s just been under appreciated recently. Around the 2014 WC was probs his best run of form I think.

Hans Flick himself is just as underrated. As Joachim Lowe assistant, the German national team winning the WC I'm sure alot has to do with him as well.
