Broke my leg twice playing football, both times took three months to come back. I guess with the best treatment it will take a few weeks less. Definitely preferable to ligaments.

Information for you guys. I broke my tib and fib and am still in recovery. 26 years old, clean break through both bones and I had a metal rod from knee to ankle. I'm in decent enough shape Etc. it's been 8 months so far and they reckon about a year before I'm back. All depends on the break I guess but if he has done that he's out for the season and its not even up for debate I'm afraid. Clean break through both them

I don't think he even tried to do that...it was immediately obvious that he was in agony. Have to be honest and say that at the time I was preoccupied thinking it was just a sore one and screaming at the ref why isn't Carzola being booked? - I mean, he committed a foul and then after the whistle had clearly sounded, he kicked the ball away!

Anyway, hope it isn't as bad as feared and the guy has a good recovery, no matter how bad it is, for himself as well as ourselves and the club.

OS and beeb 'reckon' ankle. Tiny tiny chance it's just a horrible sprain or minor fracture and what with the international break... we could be very lucky on this..... here's hoping..
