Dyche having a moan today but how can the punishment be disproportionate when this is the first case of it's kind to be heard against a PL club.
My view is that if we don't have points deductions then Newcastle will be spending billions very soon.

I mean that is a pretty significant rap sheet.

A ot of those are serious breaches and not just in a sporting sense.

Everton have launched their appeal gainst the points deduction, OK so they may get a reduction in the points penalty but if the appeals committee allows the appeal and just imposes a fine as CAS did with Man C then the floodgates will open and the likes of Newcastle / Man C will know there is nothing to stop them spending as much as they like.
Hopefully the chair of the appeals committee will come to the same conclusion that a sporting sacnction is the only appropriate penalty when dealing with rich Premier League clubs who break the rules

The premier League have spent years gathering evidence and are probably spending millions trying to prosecute the teams involved. I don't really understand why they would do that if it was all just for show.

Don't agree, even if the appeals panel do reduce the points deduction for Everton , if Man C are then found guilty of far more charges they will also get a points deduction , as the Everton case will set a precedent.

Don't forget this judicial panel is very new and was only formed three years ago , think this is their first case.

I think it’s a joke there is an appeal process at all. Completely undermines the initial investigation if it doesn’t agree with it. Then when it’s Man City’s turn they’ll smell blood from the outset.
