That's the pathetic part. It makes it clear that Poch doesn't have any clue what he is doing...1) because he can't figure this out and play the best team...2) because our success on him is based on players and not a system.

When a couple players are out then we look awful. It's because there is no system or gameplan in place, just players playing.

He'd be out of a job had Kane not emerged. I've said this for months now and it's shown to be more and more true every game.

When you think about it...what has Poch done to improve us? Southampton play better football now than when he was there - all he changed from Adkins was the addition of a high press (that wasn't totally successful). I think that's all he's done for us so far, too.

Complete lack of movement up front when we have the ball - seems like nobody can be arsed to make a run or try to find some space. Paulinho and Bentaleb doing nothing. I'm keeping this one on the hard-drive for when I can't sleep.

I'd have Chadli off. Drop Paulinho into midfield, play 433 with Eriksen left and Lamela right of Kane.

No pace in the side at all, slow on the ball and clearly we are missing a link between midfield and the front man, Paulinho just isn't the player to provide that link.

In saying the above, I do think Paulinho has won more tackles than Mason so far, Bentaleb has also won a couple. Take off Mason, put Paulinho in the middle with Bentaleb,

Chadli has also been shockingly bad at both ends, I think I actually heard Rose shout ''fuck sake Nacer, wake up'' half way through the game.

Eriksen needs a massive kick up the arse too. He's escaped a lot of criticism recently when his form has nosedived in my opinion. Needs to impose himself far more.

I've said all season I'll give him until next year when he's had time to bring in some players of his own. However, he could have bought players in the winter so I'm not sure there's any merit to this thinking.

I've also said all season that we are not a good team. One or two standout one-offs vs Chelsea/Arsenal don't fool me. This team is playing terrible football and has been all season. Mark my words, we would be in the bottom half of the league and Poch would be gone had Kane not broke through, because that is how bad we are playing in most games.

I'm willing to give him until early next season but I have very, very little faith, and it gets worse every game.

They've only really had that clear cut chance when Ings went through in the first 10 minutes.

Yeah we've been poor, but Burnley havn't exactly offered that much going forward though their own creation either.

We've had a poor half, it's true. And the team selection is confusing. But people plummeting into "Poch is a moron who hasn't done us anything" need to remember that we have a young squad playing in a particular way, and that is both reassuring and ax citing compared to where we were before. Let's hope we come out with a different spirit in the second half. COYS!

We'll see when we play them in a couple weeks. I happen to think they've been unlucky this season where as we have been very lucky. I won't get into that here though because most people don't seem to like that thinking.
