COYS! Engaged/excited again after quite some time.

The front 3 need to show something today I feel
They’ll get it in time. It’s a new attacking style and we probably don’t know who’s best where yet…

Start of a little run of league fixtures that look good on paper. 60 points available against the bottom half. Hopefully a run of points before Arsenal and Liverpool, to build confidence and apply some pressure on them.

I'm not expecting smooth sailing, but Ange is off to a strong start. We could do with some clinical finishing from whoever starts in the front three. That would help with building momentum.

9:30pm ko for us Sydneysiders👍🏻

Same again pls Ange. Loving the positive football, and even the edge of the seat defending.

If Maddison is fit, he will be desperate to start today.

5 months back, Rodgers was sacked , the next game was Bournemouth at home....and they have been on losing streak of 7 in last 8. Then Maddison makes a bad pass which is capitalised by Billings and then Bournemouth win. Post game, Maddison gave a dejected interview , mainly for being the culprit on the day. Bournemouth almost secured their survival, and Leicester dropped to 19th.

If he starts today, IMO, Maddison will give everything for the win today.

It's important that we keep the momentum from last week. Winning today would be a great start to the season

From the midweek interviews, it does seem Ange will stick with Richie up front. Also, Son is the captain so unless he's injured, he will likely play.

So that leaves only the RW position up for grabs. I would play Solomon from the start, then introduce Kulu in the 2nd half, as a replacement for any of the front 3.

Midfield

This has to be a start for GLC if Madders is out. I would think it'd be him, Biss And Pape. If Skipp or PEH is chosen over him, then we know his playing days at Spurs are likely finished.

Defenders

The 2 CBs and LB automatically select thmeselves, so the choice in defence will only be between Porro or Royal. I would play Porro again, purely because this is Bournemouth (with due respect) and we need to be attacking.

I feel Solomons pace and directness could be important today

This will have plenty of goals i think, Bournemouth under their new manager like to try and dominate the ball as do we and they don't defend deep so with our new style of play i can see it being a bit of a hectic one. As for players i would put lo celso in if madders is not 100%, no point in risking him and perhaps try son on the right and put solomon or perisic on the left, i don't feel kulu has been great lately and there is no harm trying something else out.

Shame Scott isn’t fit for them. Would have liked to see how he got on against our midfield.

Probably already been said, but I hope we start Gio today even if Maddison is "fit enough". If things are looking sour bring him in otherwise no need to risk him imo.
