Think we need to watch out for Semenyo this game.

Think he barely played for them last season after signing in Jan but he looked a serious threat in the Liverpool game. Think there's a player there.

This is an interesting game to see the Ange effect. 3 reasons. We usually struggle in 12.30 kickoffs. We usually have a come-down match against lesser opposition after a big win. We usually don’t win matches where a win would make us go top (as this one would albeit temporarily). So 3 precedents to overturn. Can you do it, Ange? COYS

Yeah think this and the Burnley match will give us a good gauge of where we're at: 2 away games against quite open attacking teams with good young managers but worse individual players.

We're still a work in progress and are due some hiccups so wouldn't be surprised if we dropped points in at least one of these 2. I think, if anything, winning these 2 would show we're ahead of schedule under Ange as we shouldn't be expecting to just steamroller bottom half teams away from home given how much the squad has changed and the loss of Kane.

If Lo Celso is not starting tmrw I think he is off.

Would really like to see a great performance by him that convinces everyone to give it a go at least another 6 months. Just htink he suits Ange's style so much.
Spot on. Will be the most interesting thing to see when the lineup is announced. Really hope he’s in it. Looked phenomenal in preseason and want him to get his chance.

if he’s not, we literally have no cover for Maddison. Similar to how we have no cover for Bissouma. Clearly the two most important players we have.

He’s been excellent in their first two games. Somehow I’ve ended up watching both Bournemouth games so far and he’s been their biggest threat. Drives through the middle with ease and seems make the right decision most of the time when he’s past the midfield. Definitely one to watch.

Have to be ready to not concede immediately. Bournemouth try really hard to get the early goal from what I've seen. They scored against arsenal last year basically from the kickoff and had the ball in the net twice against Liverpool in 3 mins (one was offside)
so will we...should be a fun start

Yeah, I agree. A good gauge of where the Ange Effect is at 👍

Curious if we see more rotation for this one with Tuesday in mind.

We've only played 2 games! There should be no need for any rotation at this point of the season but i would say that if Maddison is even slightly doubtful then dont play him and save him for Tuesday as hopefully Ange will be thinking that its a far more important game.

If Maddison is fit - he'll likely go tomorrow and next weekend, and Lo Celso (or other contingency) will start Tuesday. If Maddison is not fit for tomorrow, I can't see him being fit on Tuesday.

B'mouth have one of the lengthiest injury lists in the league at the moment with 7 players ruled out and one 50/50 to be fit according to premierinjuries.com

Their two big names signings in Adams and Scott are both out, and the other names are Smith, Tavernier, Cook, Fredericks, Hansen and Outtara (scored the winner in their win at the THS last season).

Bournemouth will press the hell out of us and they actually have real quality on the counter, as we all found out in the match back in April. Solanke is good and their new winger Traore and Semanyo are physical beasts, very fast with the ability to catch us out.

I could see this getting hairy if we don’t get an early lead which is why we need Richy or Son to be firing here. We will get the better of them and create chances but we can’t afford to be profilgate in any PL match this season.

Ange already confirmed in his presser that there will be rotation in the next 3 games.

Sarr and Bissouma impressed last weekend, how happy are you with your midfield options and the strength in depth?

So far so good. Biss and Pape have been really good. They were here pretty much from when I arrived when the other guys were away on international duty. They were here from the start and they've always had a good energy about them.

Skippy has been good whenever he's played for us. He brings the same kind of energy. I thought Pierre was good when he came on at the weekend. Gio has been unlucky that he hasn't had any game time but again been really impressed.

We're going to need it. We're two games into a long season. We've seen other clubs having to cope with injuries and I'm sure at some point that's going to hit us. We need a strong squad and we've got three games next week.

Three away games so we're definitely going to use pretty much everyone in the squad through that week. It's important to know that they're ready.
