It seems like Conte's going through the motions himself.

The team is reflective of the manager at the moment.

We're looking worse with every game that passes. While there is a responsibility laying at the feet of our players, it is Conte who's putting out the same toothless line-ups and system every week with little to no tweaks.

The only positive in this half was Skipp who looked a bit lively. Kane and Son are getting further and further away from the goal and I can barely remember the last game they had a couple of decent chances from where you would expect them to score.

Right now my worry is that, based on his previous appointments, even if/when Conte goes Levy will try to replace him with another manager terrified of playing attacking football, only without the impressive CV and ability to attract players.

Tuchel LOL

This argument is just weird. So what we are playing with the same main players. But other teams are not! They can well improve.
So you are arguing every single team we are playing has got better and that’s why we are so much worse? Got it. Sounds entirely sensible and I now concede Conte has no responsibility for our performances until we buy him 2 £50m players for every position. I mean, how are we supposed to compete with Bournemouth with this squad? Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Get Perisic in. At least he can cross. We need that as Bournemouth will sit back.

also, would love to see either Gil (for Skipp probably) or Spence for Royal.

Kulusevski is out. Richarlison is out. Lucas is not fit. Bryan will come on in the 2nd half - he would not last a full game.
Why can’t he last a full game? Lucas could play 45 and he could play 45 if that was the case anyway. Stop making up non existent excuses for the manager.

So little quality on the delivery into the box. I think we managed to miss the first man only a couple of times out of what, 20 attempts? The one decent cross that did make it's way in from open play ended up hitting the post.

Whatever the problem is, we absolutely must keep Conte. I usually post knee jerk reactions blaming whoever. But he's better at what he does than most of our team are at what they do. He is a world class manager, and if we continue to support him, he will get it right in the end. I fear though that the board will cave due to fan pressure (eventually). We are not going to get anyone better (at least not yet). Personally, I still think we will click this season.

he don;
Our performances have been totally unacceptable for the majority of this season.

Dire.
has anyone told these players, what's waiting for them in the south of France,
they seriously have to get it together, what the hell's going on

It likely is the manager’s instruction to get into that area. That isn’t doing Skipp any favor. Midfield setup is way too negative for my liking.
So why not just play Gil there at least he knows how to play there. Skipp is not a right midfielder
