regardless of the outcome, I hope France comes back with a goal before half. Don't want the second half to be a watchfest of Argentinians examining the pitch in minute detail face down writing in temporary debilitating pain.
What like every single team in the Premier League does every single week you mean? including Spurs.

Fortunately for Spurs he didn't do as much damage as he might have been trying to do to Hugo
He was shoved by Upamecano. They would've collided anyway of course but the force wouldn't have been nearly as great if he wasn't pushed.

They're playing some great stuff, but those antics really do irk me. I know every team does it at one point or another, but it's just so blatant.

He wasn't trying to intentionally hurt Hugo

He shouldn't be throwing elbows at anyone, let alone his club captain, regardless of the game. Stupidity from him. Could have seen himself off. Needs to have a bit more sense.

I get he's an "edgy" player and people love that about him. But he could have put Hugo out for the season if lands it higher up.

Massive difference in attitudes on the pitch. ALL the Argentina players have been in a war in this first half, they have fought for everything and their manager has found a weakness and they have exploited it perfectly (with di Maria)...

The French (Tchoumeni apart) have been very French. Deschamps making that sub (dembele) should have happened earlier.... the giroud sub was a disgrace. What a way to treat your players.

I also get the feeling that the Argentina bench are full on fans and will support the team to the end, I wonder if the French bench have the same mentality.

Only one team are showing passion out there.

God I like Messi but I can't stand the rest of the ****s - always moaning and rolling around the floor acting like they are victims of everything.

Rio clearly thought he was broadcasting a funeral. Yet somehow appropriate given how Argentina have buried France.

He was pushed into Hugo from what I saw. Not deliberately throwing an elbow.
