Distinct lack of character and desire tonight coupled with even a modicum of defensive nous or guile in front of goal.

An all round clusterfuck of a performance!

Joke performance from a team and club that too often thinks we're good enough to just show up and that's enough. We'll be listening to all sorts of horseshit over the next 2 weeks now. Reminder of throwing in the towel here for the league cup game. Great chance to solidify for a big end to the season, but instead melt away. Undoing the benefit of last week, encouraging everyone else with the usual 'lads, it's tottenham'.

4-0 against a top 4 rival, followed by 0-3 versus midtable team. This is a little microcosm of why "spursy" is so apt.

Forget this game. Forget these players. Forget this manger/coach. Forget this season. Why is it that for the decades I have now followed this team there are about 2 occasions where I can remember us actually taking advantage of and seizing any momentum we either work hard to attain or find ourselves gifted?

Was WHL and the subsequent stadium built on a sodding burial ground or something? WTF is it exactly?

Anyhoo. Comfortably in 5th on the heel of Villa. 10 games to go. Not the end of the world but GD.

This isn't down to tactics and players not being good enough. It's the same team, set up, and game plan that smashed Villa last week. It's simply effort and desire. Thinking all you need to do is turn up, and it's bit then thoroughly on the arse.
This is what worries me the surprisingly weak mentality. It’s almost like watching a team where the manager has lost the dressing room but it’s not the case. Which is why it’s worrying.

Anyone else thinks all 3 fulham goals were extremely lucky tbf?

1) 1 in a million pass
2) not even a shot
3) whatever that was

No, their passing has been excellent… constantly getting in behind our full backs and creating chances.

We’ve been shocking but Fulham have played very well and thoroughly deserve the 3 points.

You'd have thought at his age Richarlison would have learnt the offside rule by now wouldn't you.

Positives:

Bentancur has looked much better in the second half compared to his previous outings; Vicario has kept the score line down and despite being so often criticized PEH can actually do a decent job in midfield.

100% , but if you’re the manager and you see that then surely you make changes at half time. Say what you want about Hojberg but he seems to play with effort and desire every game

Bents and PEH must have a shot at starting next time out.

I honestly have no idea how players can turn up on the pitch without these two most basic things. Bare minimum is you turn up and leave it all out there on the pitch, I haven't seen that from anyone today in a Spurs shirt.

You forget just how much Richarlisson finds himself in offside positions when he's out a few games.
