I don’t hate him at all, he’s a very skilful player. I’m yet to be convinced he’s worth £60m, time will tell. Football is a team game
Yes and the team performed outstandingly well after he was substituted, didn't they?

Did he run the game...in parts yes but was still part of a midfield three that disappeared for large chunks of the second half.

His work rate off the ball improved again yesterday but I do think fans look at him in a complete different light to other players and I understand a lot of that stems from where he has come from last season to now.

He is great fun to watch on the ball and is by far our most naturally gifted player and I think the further advanced midfield position suits him.

I would just love to see him and Gio have a sustained run in the team together.

I would say that a very skilful midfielder with great vision and passing like Ndombele really helps this team.

I was actually laughing at a couple of his touches. He was essentially taking the piss out of the West Ham players; not showboating, but doing the only thing possible to get out of tricky situations. Situations none of our other midfielders could've escaped from.

Yeah, every time the ball comes to him I’m thinking what ridiculous turn or weight shift he’s going to pull to throw his marker off balance. And that pass inside the left back for Aurier - just fucking sublime. Love watching him play.

It's the angles that he can get on his passes that I love too, like with the way he can wrap his foot around the ball he can play through balls with his back almost to goal.

The defensive side of his game is showing noticeable signs of improvement. Made a couple of good interceptions yesterday, doesn't look as scared of a challenge anymore.

In terms of his performance with the ball, he was on another level yesterday. No coincidence we seemed to dwindle in midfield as soon as he went off.

His ball to Kane was arguably better than Kane's to Son
He seems to defy logic with some of his passing. He will be facing one way, and he'll manage to pass the ball to a player behind him using his instep. He does it for the pass you're referring to, and did it later in the game from an even more acute angle. Not sure I've ever seen a player with his passing style.

Can’t remember where I heard it but someone compared him to Mark Viduka. Prone to putting on weight and seemed to have to play regularly just to keep In condition.

Don’t know if there’s anything to that but his whole demeanour has changed on the pitch, he’s stronger, doesn’t go down so easily and doesn’t look like he’s been hit by a bus when he does take a challenge.

Still early days but it feels like he’s starting to take on the role of the main guy in midfield and starting to enjoy it too.

The other indirect contribution Ndombele makes is that he attracts more opponents trying to shut him down than any of our other players. Even so, he has the ability to beat several players in the space of a phone box and then find a killer pass. When he went off v West Ham their midfield were immediately back in the game because Winks/Hojbjerg/Sissoko aren't that dangerous. He creates a lot of space for players around him because he needs to be marshalled so closely. Can't wait to get him and LoCelso on the pitch together.

No, our best midfielder by a mile is GLC

THIS

I must have watched a different game because at 3-0 the scoreline didn’t reflect the match I was watching after about 20mins

Ndombele has clearly improved his fitness but we still need a lot more from him

With Mourinho it's Lo Celso or Ndombele. If we want to see them together, we have to change the coach, for someone who likes good football.
Based on all the good football we’ve played since the Everton game, there’s no other conclusion to draw from your posts than that you’re not watching our matches.

Well, there is another conclusion but I’d rather not advise you of it.

Don't believe that for a minute. They'll both start in most cases when available.
