If we can get

Castagne to replace Aurier
Hojbjerg for Sissoko
Wilson as Kane backup
Monster as CB who can actually defender a cross

Think Jose might have enough to get us some results

Hard to believe that a potential window of Max Aarons, Callum Wilson, Hojbjerg and the Korean CB will take us back to being able to compete.

Nah mate we will compete for the league with Don Mourinho, haven’t you seen the table since restart?

We don’t have holes in the fullback positions and in midfield, we’ll be fine

If this kind of display makes Mourinho happy because we qualified for europe, then i fear for our team next season.

I do not condone such a poor performance.

Whatever achievement he has made for us so far, im not buying it.

I stand by my stance that Jose is not the man to bring us forward.

Someone who isn’t blind, hallelujah

Ah I see the folk who went missing when we won have reappeared - 1-1 draw, with an hours worth of poor football, and they're back ... Some of you are literally here to only moan - shame you couldn't enjoy the games we won ...

14 from 18 ... European football achieved - Europa League isn't ideal, I 'd agree - but we're in Europe - wonder about some who post on here lately.

So boring isn’t it. Everyone has played poorly since the restart, every top team has been ‘embarrassed’ by one of the lower clubs and yet you wouldn’t believe that in here.

18 points from 9 games. Under Poch we got 24 points from 25 games. Huge huge difference in mentality.

We were poor today - but for people to sharpen knives after the result - a poor 1-1 draw - gets us sixth and I think all but confirms European football next season ... Could have been worse.

This season has been a clusterfuck, fucked if I am not happy it's at an end.

Not the last game I hoped for, but still 3rd on the form table ending the season. And here it almost sounds like we should have taken 5 more points from those last 6 games for it to be "acceptable".

Mourinho knows we need to be a lot better creating chances next season. Let's see if he is capable of making that happen.

I don't think any manager could have pulled off a better points return than Mourinho did with this utterly mediocre squad since he took over. Investment in the squad is what is required, not changing the manager. So many players that are not good enough to be starting for a club with our ambitions are still here and starting game after game.

Deserves plenty of credit to finish 6th when we were languishing in 14th, or whatever, when he took over.

I think we'll finish 3/4th next season under him.

Same old people never give any credit and then come out of the woodwork if we struggle a little or don't get the result, always ignoring where we've improved or done well.

Like fucking clockwork.

He's done a good job since that Bournemouth game. Still worried we are being too negative in games, allowing the other side into it. Palace case in point, we surrendered the initiative by being defensive.

Manager grade c+ decent if rather boring start to spurs career. If we can become a little more adventurous and keep the defensive solidity ill be happier.

It has been a mixed bag. Certainly there were more good moments of good football but we still had far too many poor patches. Europa is a good thing. More playing time for players as long as Jose rotates more than he did at near the end of the season. And if we go very far, it could be one additional player the following year.

Put sissoko and winks in any other clubs’ midfield and they’ll struggle to control games and make the rest of the team and manager secure. Some ppl just don’t appreciate the job he’s done. Europa league is a huge opportunity to win a trophy, and probably our most realistic route back into the cl. I can’t believe some of you expect liquid football with the trash in midfield and a massive break in the season. Jose clearly prioritized solidity at the back, and that has seen us deservedly finish in Europe.

So if we play shit, but win a trophy would you feel the same way?

We have played good football but won the square route of fuck all in the past.

I'd rather we play pragmatic football and be effective than hope for the best

Given that he had the same bunch of players apart from Bergwijn that we had when he took over and we were 14th, players who could no longer perform for Pochettino, and given the injuries we subsequently suffered, finishing 6th has to be seen as a strong performance.

Getting some solidity back into a team that was all over the place had to be the very first priority for Mourinho, and the foundation for everything else. I don’t think you can judge anything until we see whether and how he builds on the foundation.

Expecting beautiful flowing football as well as good results all within a few months of taking over was never realistic.

Was looking at the squad of the relegated teams, we could really do with some of their players

Docoure, Forster
Brooks, Cantwell
Ake, Godfrey,

Agreed. Poor display but this has to be countered with the fact that I highly doubt that Winks and Sissoko are Jose’s first choice midfield pair to be honest. Neither would either of Aurier and Davies be. Surely people must recognise this (I say in vain).
