Like Son?We need the finished product. Not a prospect. These wing forward positions are crucial.

Nope not what I’m saying. Think people need to calm down. Not against signing Nusa, but we need a finished article. Our forwards were miles off tonight. You're the one that place it in this thread.
Pretty much by saying we shouldn't sign the next Gareth Bale if we find him.
Well we need both. I’m not sure that was the problem tonight though. We need the finished product. Not a prospect. These wing forward positions are crucial.
To be fair, I think Johnson is a project and Werner actually made some pretty good runs tonight. I think he’ll come good, even if he is limited.Nope not what I’m saying. Think people need to calm down. Not against signing Nusa, but we need a finished article. Our forwards were miles off tonight.
And to a lesser degree Solomon. I know he hasn’t pulled up any trees yet but the reality is he is one of our senior wingers. Not only that Ange said himself that he was just starting to grasp the system when he got injured. We still don’t have a clue how effective he can be. He has had dominating performances against the likes of of RM in the CL so he shouldn’t be dismissed.Like Son?
There is nothing more I would love then for us to go out and slap down the money for Kvaratskhelia or Nico Williams but it’s just not how we do things unfortunately. I think we just have hope we uncover the next Kvara at this point.Yeah both are decent, but one top drawer winger would make a major difference. They could develop into that I’m sure but not sure.
So we missed him tonight but still need that long term replacement like NusaHe’s our main and best striker in my opinion and is probably for the next 2-3 years.
Son and Kulusevski are pretty good wide players. To be fair, I think Johnson is a project and Werner actually made some pretty good runs tonight. I think he’ll come good, even if he is limited.
It’s definitely an area where we appear to be weak compared to the rest of the pitch.
Yeh I said that in my previous post. I totally agree but it’d be good to have another really top class alternative. Someone that offers something different but is also ready, rather than being a project. I do think all of our options will look better with our best midfield on the pitch though.Son and Kulusevski are pretty good wide players.
But that is the difference isn’t it. Hopefully we sign someone or have someone who can be that player. There is nothing more I would love for us to go out and slap down the money for Kvaratskhelia or Nico Williams but it’s just not how we do things unfortunately. Tottenham's performance will fluctuate as the team adapts to new tactical focuses. Nusa will be an option we don’t have a winger that can isolate full backs and float into several positions we have so many static wingers atm onto really kulu can do it. We are also lacking that proper 6 who can manipulate the tempo and strangle possession if bissouma can find form again we will be fine but we need another option there. So we missed him tonight but still need that long term replacement like Nusa
We have been spoilt by Kane and that’s the ceiling as it’s fresh . Expectations have been raised so quickly due to the attractive football and right now we are lacking bite in that front line but the midfield for me is a lot more concerning there not quick enough in transitions and unless we have a creative 8-10 we struggle need more from that area .Nope not what I’m saying. Think people need to calm down. Not against signing Nusa, but we need a finished article. Our forwards were miles off tonight.
Totally agree, today the midfield was a bigger issue than the front three. We have been spoilt by Kane and that’s the ceiling as it’s fresh . I don’t see us spending £40m+ for a rotation option, as much as I think he’d be a good fit.I keep telling people how key Sarr is to our system, there is a very noticeable drop-off every time he doesn’t play. We need someone as backup for him badly, it’s why I think Gallagher would fit.
Not had to wait for a drop this long since that time I was constipated after flight to New Zealand.Haha jokes aside . I have a treat for the itk thread soon but can’t drop it yet . One of my best to date I would say .
Although he would be an option for 2 positions (Sarr & Maddison) which is a positive.I don’t see us spending £40m+ for a rotation option, as much as I think he’d be a good fit.
