Guessing with the Skipp/PEH double pivot that we’ll need to play more on the counter vs be able to dominate the ball like we’d usually like to.

I fancy a Werner assist to Richy goal today.

We have pace out wide, but we’re not going to have much control in attack. Need to counter today. We have the defence back in place to build it from.

Bit harsh to put them in the same category, at least GLC has made some contribution, sess is literally just stealing a living

How is it unfair to say they they are in the same category when it comes to injuries? Neither of them can stay fit, nothing to do with GLC being a vastly better player - which I agree with by the way.

Tbh though I’d still look to sell both.

GLC isn’t quite at the level of Sess who just seems to be absolutely permanently injured, but in both cases neither are reliable at all and you can basically call it that when GLC gets a chance to have a run in the team due to other injuries he’ll never be far behind with his own.

We’d be much better off with reliable replacements.

Would prefer Skipp as the 6 and Hojbjerg as the 8. Think Hojbjerg is better box to box. It will be interesting if Bentancur plays as the 10, he has to really for me.

Need Porro to play well to have any chance of winning this.

He's the only one capable of picking a pass.

Really needed Gio to stay fit up until Madders return. Similar to how Davies managed until VDV came back.

I know it looks grim now, but Højbjerg, Bentancur, Porro, and Romero are all capable of making defence splitting passes. None of them are going to be as effective as Maddison or Kulusevski, but they aren’t incapable either.
