So close4-3 win for us in a Premier League classic.
Well... Højbjerg for Gil was game management today ... as much pragmatism as you get from Ange...I love that Ange is not for turning. We attack and go out swinging, even if on paper it’s madness. I do think a bit of game management/pragmatism is needed at times, but we’ve 13 players out playing against arguably the best team in the world. Why lay down and wait for a beating
I think we're going to take an absolute pasting today, something like 5-2. But the football will be good and we'll keep making progress towards where Ange wants us.
This is a positive post btw. But until our squad is sorted, we won't get anything at the Etihad without playing on the counter and we won't do that at the moment whilst Ange is getting his playing style instilled.
I do miss the optimistic ratingFucking hell, what a performance overall given our injuries and absences. Levy hasn't properly backed a manager in....*checks notes*.... ever, but he needs to step up now and give Ange the squad he needs.
Hope it’s not someone else’sI didn't know you had a 11 year old?
If you think about it what we saw as a starting lineup today is probably close to how we'll be finishing games when the injured players are back.Fair f****g play. That 2nd half was excellent. To have done it with such a decimated squad as well. Can't wait to see what we look like next season when Ange has a full squad to work with.
Sorry, I missed this during the chaos, I wasn't ignoring you.Not to Sonny but have BJ start wide and drop it over the full backs. He’s already beaten him in a foot race once
Well... Højbjerg for Gil was game management today ... as much pragmatism as you get from Ange...
If somebody speaking to me this morning could have offered me a guaranteed draw from today's game, I'd have been more than happy with that. I have to admit I was fearing the worst. May I join you for a slice of that humble pie? This humble pie is fucking delicious
Next upWhen’s Romero back?
