He ain't wrong. But let's face it, both Gentle Ben and Reggie are both crap. Doesn't matter which one plays, they're still toothless in attack and weak in defence.

How can he say Davies is more consistent when under Nuno he’s barely played? Reguilon is piss poor defensively but at least he has a threat going forward. Davies can be decent defensively but offers nothing going forward. However, when he’s even slightly off his game he’s of no use whatsoever.

Agreed. Though im going to watch it through to listen to the boos. Most enjoyment I’ll get from any Spurs match this season.
And isn't that the saddest thing? We're not even going down fighting in these defeats.

Top dollar to watch, bottom drawer performances to endure.

The early report about Nuno's no show was from a journo called Jonny Bentley, apparently there's a bunch of fans waiting near the interview area and Nuno hasn't appeared.

That's enough self flagellation for this season. I literally can't watch this stuff week in week out. What do I want for Christmas? I want someone to make Levy/ENIC an offer

Cheap. He doesn’t care. He’s rich and I’m not so I can’t understand his thinking. I just want Spurs to be great and he just wants money.
He's getting TV money, gate receipts and bar takings, why does he need to deliver anything else if people keep paying him?

Embarrassing to see Arsenal above us!
If we can’t get a better replacement immediately, I would be fine with Harry R for the very short term until we can get Gallardo or another better coach/manager.

there won’t be any distraction of him getting the England job and his football would be a much better watch than Nuno ball .
Harry would get us playing some good stuff and at least taking some shots!

Going to dig deep and try to find some positives, for my own sanity.

Romero and Royal seem to be getting better and better

Moura played really well

Hojbjerg, Dier and Sonny obviously care deeply

Skipp looks good and will look better when the whole team is set

The atmosphere in the first half was loud, for a long time

That's about it

The negatives:
Kane's head has gone
We have a lot of players who aren't working out at spurs - most of the squad, in fact

Nuno isn't to blame, but lacks the charisma to lift this group, who know he was the 100th choice - the poor bastard hasn't got a chance and needs to go

But there are still no obvious answers for who to bring in

It will take years, and 100s of millions, for ENIC to turn it around

Just to confirm the result of my experiments to find something less painful to do than watch Spurs.

Sticking a matchstick up my japs and lighting it was the surprise winner

I liked Harry Redknapp, he had his limitations but at least he bloody cared. I miss the days of having the ball out wide and the full back/winger having 3-4 players to aim for in the box. These days it’s a treat if we have 1 or 2 players anywhere near the opposition box.

ENIC are not turning anything around. They're the crux of the problem. Until they sell we just have to hope they get lucky again like they did with Poch. I suspect we're going to have to go through a whole lot of Gross, Ramos, AVB, and Nunos before we strike it lucky again.

Thats fuckin shocking, like alarm bells stuff
Indeed, there were those who pointed to us being 6th in the table as a better indicator of our overall situation than the stats. The stats tell the true story and with this bloke in charge we are going to nearer to 19th than we are to 4th very, very soon. All of the indicators point that way. Our results have flattered us and that will only carry on so long. Over the course of the season our luck will even out and we're going to be in serious doggie doo.

You're probably right, certainly not in this era of the sugar daddy owner

The fact the players are so far down the league for distance covers shows that not enough of them are putting in enough effort, and this is the same malaise that did for poch and mourinho. I don't see Nuno somehow getting them to work harder, and I don't see ENIC shelling out the money to replace them

Romero, yes.
Royal, don't get it. Delivery is piss poor, spent most of the game ahead of Son, meaning Son was having to cover him. Runs into blind alleys. Not an upgrade on Aurier IMO.

Hojberg and Dier care. They are also very limited footballers. Not good enough.

Just read a quote from solskjaer - "the players fight for the club, no matter what".

For me, it couldn't be further from the truth for us. No pride. No hurt. No professionalism.

I'm expecting a midweek training youtube vid of a lot of smiles and joking around.
