I'd rather make sure we advance. Players not in Nuno's preferred XI will need minutes. And I think it would be good to include players like Scarlett and John (maybe 1-2 others) in the squad and give them minutes when appropriate.

I am not in favor of simply starting a youth squad, and assume that is enough to make it through.
Reckon we can be braver and include 6-8 academy lads. Kane benefitted so much from playing in Europa league games while breaking through.

I hate to be negative, but Whiteman doesn't fill me with confidence. He seems like a good shot stopper, but he's not really dominated his box on the set pieces and looked lost a couple of times.
I can't remember a youth team goalkeeper actually becoming a regular in my 40 odd years of watching Spurs. Tony Parks but he wasn't first choice.

He's never going to play a minute of competitive football here, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Skipp has become a much better player there, it was the perfect move for him last summer.

God seeing Winks and Skipp in the same side really hits home the difference in quality. Especially given 1 has only just returned to ore season after injury!

We need to get some good loans again this season, white, Clarke, parrot, Scarlett, John all need to be out playing in the championship.
For me, Scarlett looks the closest to the first team.

Skipp is a first team starter. Really hope tanganga stays fit, he could suprise a few next season.

Skipp obviously, but Nile John and Dane Scarlett definitely look most likely to get competitive mins this season.

Have they forgotten to take the coat hangers out of their footy shirts?

This interview with Tanganga is like a challenge to see how many times you can ask the same questions but in different ways.

Really impressed with Nile John

He has an Ndombele swagger about him, looks a very promising player and one that’s ready to be integrated into the 1st team squad this season.
