Went strolling around the first few pages of this thread.. we went from not believing this talented player will ever sign for us, to within a year, a good part of us wanted this guy to be sold or exchanged..

With respect a lot of people were making judgements based on youtube videos and one game vs City.
I agree we should definitely be giving him another year but this idea he was Dembele replacement solely based on his obvious on the ball ability completely ignored what Dembele used to do off the ball, battling for possession, making tackles and pressing intensely.
He’s so far been nothing like Dembele but I do think with Hojbjerg doing the leg work he still could flourish here.

Its a funny thing. I have kids and family stuff going on so I don't get to keep up with football like I used to.
A year ago I was getting really excited about signing this guy mainly based on the posts from people who I assumed were able to spend time keeping up with the new talent coming through. I'm not proud. I'll happily bow to those with superior knowledge.
Well now I've seen a year's worth of Ndombele and the valuable lesson I've learned is don't make judgments unless you're able to do so yourself.
I may be wrong but my eyes tell me that we fucked up this time. I genuinely don't get why people are wailing and crying over this player.
Let's just cut our losses, ship him out and get Jose someone who gives a shit and will contribute to the team.

Completely disagree, one of the most talented players I've ever seen at the club, which makes it more frustrating he isnt out on the training ground hours after training is finished every day pushing himself like Kane or Bale (when he was at the club).

Geez, I’m firmly in the ‘Keep Tanguy’ camp, but if Levy was able to fleece PSG for a bunch of money that we could reinvest this window I think I’d go for it.
