The thing is - youre not just giving him time which I think he needs but youre giving him money - are you comfortable in giving him money to change the squad only for the same crap. Its difficult but I just never saw him as a long term manager but merely someone who could be short term(ish) and perhaps improve us instantly.

Id drop 15m a year on Nagelsmann and go from there... i am pretty sure everyone would be on board with a young progressive manager and would actually give him time (this may come across as me not liking Jose but I actually do but I see him as someone who is at odds with what our club and Levys vision is) - only my view.
That's not going to happen and it isn't reasonable to have expected Mourinho to turn things around this quickly. The idea that Mourinho is a short term fix is only in the minds of the supporters as we don't know that this was Levy's thinking.

Can't wait to hear his excuse this time around, outplayed, outrun and outfought by a team who played a European game on Thursday.

How anyone defend this chancer or make allowances for these performances is beyond me.
All anyone is doing is saying that he deserves a preseason and a chance to bring in some more players that he needs. Don't forget that the actual decision maker is the one that brought him in. Whatever we say on here makes f*** all difference in the grand scheme of things.

I mentioned earlier my criticism of Jose isnt that he hasnt made us into the all singing all dancing Spurs but that I would have expected greater improvement than already shown - and I dont think that is unfair to say.

Perhaps the players just aren't good enough and the fact we've lost our two best players to freak injuries has exposed this?
Most (not all) of the players have are good enough IMO, the problem is the players we don't have. If we'd had a capable DM, pacey fullbacks capable of defending pacey attackers, or a second-choice striker then today would have been a fundamentally different match. We've got quality players but the squad as a whole is lacking in key areas.

Be careful, as there are still a few people think he's the real deal and the fault lies firmly at the feet of Poch and Levy

Except none of the “points” you make are true.

We outplayed Wolves for the majority of the game. We threw the game away ourselves with 3 horrendous defensive errors. You can’t blame Mourinho for that.

He keeps saying Troy is not ready but the longer we go without a win in the league the more foolish he will look

It is disappointing but it's not just having a new manager come in after the season has started with totally different ideas but a new coaching team too.

Well I hope you're right but I'm not optimistic.

No one generally is after a loss or we suffer an adverse result, it's the nature of some football fans that they lack total perspective and tend to not look at the bigger picture because they are just emotional and pissed off.

Said this many time I've totally written this season off as a transition season and looking forward to the next, people just need to chill out really.

If Troy comes in and struggles though, do you think that people will accept that? I'm a bit worried that already he's being hyped a heck of a lot.

I wanted Poch to stay as much as anybody and believed the squad was the issue and was willing to suffer this season if it meant a proper rebuild. However people saying we shouldn't have sacked him or we made a mistake is so pointless and we need to let it go. We made a decision and need to look forward it's no good saying shouldn't have done this or that, we need to move forward and from what I see at the moment Jose is being held back by the players at his disposal. That's the reality of where we are at the moment. I was concerned when he said he wanted the season to be over because I felt like we have enough quality in the squad to compete but today they let him down.

While I agree on general level, won't completely write this season off as we are still playing on 3 fronts. Of course it doesn't look good on PL and CL, but while it is a transitional season, we still might get something out of it.

The reactions are not knee jerk... We've had 3-4 months of this turgid, insipid shite to contend with from a manager who self promotes to be the world's best.. We're being short changed and writing off this season is not an acceptable option.

Would they bollocks.
If the fans won't give one of the most decorated managers in world football time, what are the chances on them giving the latest flavour of the month who hasn't achieved fuck all any sort of breathing space?

We're in this state because of factors that are solely at the feet of Levy and Poch...Levy's going nowhere, so screaming 'Enic Out' into the internet is completely pointless.
What we do know is that under several managers Levy has assembled squads that compete for titles, and get to finals, and I'd feel a lot more confident of getting over the line with Mourinho in charge than any other manager we could realistically appoint.

What's it been... 3/4 months?
People just need to suck it up, this season was fucked before Mourinho came in.
