You're scrabbling around for crumbs.. We were shocking v Southampton, and that was for all to see, especially pundits, who are employed to assess what they saw. Unfortunately the manager, irrespective of who he is, will take the brunt of any criticism.
The point I was trying to make was that the pundits 'assessment' is already pre-determined when it comes to Jose. Everything is negative when it comes to Jose. He's been in the job for four months, inherited a squad with a massive amount of issues and is now dealing with a fair few injury concerns. Square pegs, round holes.
We are playing some dreadful football at the moment but the above needs to be noted when criticizing Jose and the way we are currently playing.
Jose's remit is to get back us into the top 4 and hopefully snag a trophy and since he has come in, we have a higher chance of achieving those than we did prior to his appointment.
