What the pundits & media are saying about us

You're scrabbling around for crumbs.. We were shocking v Southampton, and that was for all to see, especially pundits, who are employed to assess what they saw. Unfortunately the manager, irrespective of who he is, will take the brunt of any criticism.

The point I was trying to make was that the pundits 'assessment' is already pre-determined when it comes to Jose. Everything is negative when it comes to Jose. He's been in the job for four months, inherited a squad with a massive amount of issues and is now dealing with a fair few injury concerns. Square pegs, round holes.

We are playing some dreadful football at the moment but the above needs to be noted when criticizing Jose and the way we are currently playing.

Jose's remit is to get back us into the top 4 and hopefully snag a trophy and since he has come in, we have a higher chance of achieving those than we did prior to his appointment.

Mourinho’s response to Merson.

"Contrary to some people who want to be in the news and telling things that are not true, I am really happy at the club," Mourinho told Sky Sports. "You know me quite well, so you know me enough to know that I am really happy. “

Given that the quote was delivered to his former employers (Sky) i'd imagine Mourinho was quite reserved with that statement.

A lot of people need to realise that most football fans are fucking morons, myself included and Sky employ people who are happy to say things for shock value which gets all us little morons talking. Their key demograophic laps this sort of shit up and all this thread has done is proven that point.

Do you think Sky would have bothered asking Jose his opinion if it wasn't one of their own and they thought they could churn another few articles out of it.

Agree - I don’t need that drunk illiterate buffoon to tell me about anything on anything.

Out of his nut on drink and drunks the absolute mess.

Cannot string two words together.

It's true though, there is a narrative to Liverpool (and most top sides for that matter) that they are an all conquering side who only lose when they play badly. Spurs on the other hand are a poor side who only win when the opponent makes a mistake.

It really isn't too far from the truth is it?

Another article from Jonathan Liew where he tries to make Mourinho out to be a feckless footballing version of the antichrist.

I refuse to link his article in here
