In the hope of getting this thread somewhat back on track the grand old team Everton forum is pretty magnanimous in calling us bottelers and that they knew that they couldn’t rely on us despite more than a few being fully confident before the match kicked off.

Really is so annoying when clubs like Everton stick the boot in like that despite the fact that they’ve out spent us considerably and are still nowhere near us. When you call them out on that they just answer with “what have you won”. It’s so frustrating.

Mate if it was them losing v Arsenal in a final we'd be doing the same!

Me - CL next season, best stadium in the country by far. I will enjoy , thanks

Pikey - even at wembley we had a higher average attendance than you. Your still bitter cos we won the olympic stadium for nothing ahead of you and orient.thank god for that decision cos it would be us thats a billion in debt. (Yep he honestly called me bitter about their stadium )

Me - OMG, can you hear yourself ? Bitter about a shit soulless stadium all your fan base hates ? We have our own stadium Dan and it pisses all over your shit rented ground. Bitter ?? fucking deluded mate. Enjoy your relegation battle next season mate In that crap hole you don’ even own and need a binoculars to watch games ?

Pikey - 2nd 4th.going lower each year.get used to that sinking feeling and look forward to us coming to that bank owned shit palace to win again very soon????

Me - mate you are so jealous of our new stadium its laughable. We own our stadium, you don’t. Case CLosed. Still CL son. Don’t really matter 2nd or 4th. Where did you finish by the way mate ? ?? jog on mate, you support Westham ffs
In fact when was the last time you come above us ? Please enlighten me. This should be fun ?

Not sure why I bothered wasting my time, but felt the need to put the Pikey in his place

It’s very simple. Ask them whose season ticket they’d rather have. End of argument.

Also Tell him you’ve had shits in Calais that have lasted longer than West Ham in Europe.

Stealing that for my brother in law next time he chirps up. Just laughed in his face this time round. Also did the trick.

Eriksen thread on red cafe, I like the fact some of them getting used to us being a big club, still a lot thinking they can just say united and players will join automatically.

If Eriksen joined them it would be for one reason only and go against everything we know about him, really. It's a total non-starter.

Yeah I don’t think he’d even consider it unless Poch was there, only Barca or Real would be able to get him like itk suggested.

I got a feeling he’ll end up signing a new deal, and there are not many better signings then that.

I said before that Utd fans are going to be having a hard time with dealing with how far they've actually fallen as a club and who they are linked with and who they inevitably end up with, seems like they're going through the motions now.

They finished 2nd in the league the season before last. Yes they've fallen but they are not west ham just yet.

Why are you straw manning, are you actually that bored?

Just don't think they have fallen as far as you. They get a half decent manager in they be back challenging very quickly. The last few years they have won a lot more trophies than us and can give much bigger wages. They are still a draw. Maybe not as much as city, madrid, barca or even liverpool at the moment. But still a draw none the less.
The main thing counting against them is the belief that solksjaer will be gone pretty soon.

How do you know how far I think they've fallen?

They get a half decent manager in they be back challenging very quickly.

I'm talking about this very moment i.e now so getting another manager in is irrelevant to my argument.

Again your wages and trophies point totally irrelevant to my argument 1) I didn't compare them to us, by saying 'fallen' I comparing them to where they were a few years ago. 2) Yes they are still a draw but they're not attracting world stars like they used to.

The main thing counting against them is the belief that solksjaer will be gone pretty soon.

Your straw man argument is based on hypotheticals, my argument it based on reality.

I know it's the Summer dude and we're waiting on Spurs to sign someone but seriously cut this shit out, no need to try and invent arguments to keep yourself entertained, seriously.

The anger

Sp**s signing Ndombele for 60M.

Arsenal Mania told me he’ll never go there and they haven’t got the money.

Ok.

The acceptance

Bet you they are going to sign Lo Celso too, they are gonna try and pull a Liverpool. It was always obvious after a CL final run they would go out and splash but delusional people thought just because our joke club was skint post stadium move theirs would be too.
It's already bad enough with City and Liverpool way out of reach, but it will be a sad day when soon Tottenham will be out of our reach too.

And I just found this pretty funny

Weirdly enough, we were in debt for 500+ million after the stadium move but a lot of it was for the Highbury redevelopment. Which brought that net debt down significantly.

They have to stay in the CL. Their debt was supposedly extended to 600+ million. They stayed at Wembley far longer than they wanted to. The CL final run came at a very opportune moment for them. They're inflated numbers came from not spending anything on transfers. The season before, their net spend was negligible as well.

Pochettino, Kane and CL are crucial for them. They have to spend to stay in the CL and keep Pochettino. Chelsea with a transfer ban and United being a **** show, this is the best time for them to solidify top 4 for a while. Also looking at that squad, I'm not sure anyone barring Kane is actually worth buying for a mega club. Doesn't look like Eriksen has any takers from Spain/PSG.

Now this is the sort of post I'm after when this thread gets bumped, not people arguing about whether Man U are shit or not.
