Indeed looked perfectly mobile and fit to me. He just has a very lazy looking way about him

He should be first on the team sheet with lo celso. Don't buy this super unfit talk
Well he is. Otherwise he would have played 4x the games this season. You can't hide from the fact he's not up to speed fitness wise.

I will say though that he has to be given more minutes to achieve that goal.

Its amazing how little attention some fans have paid to our season 2019-20. We have been beset all season by the reality that many of our players have rarely been truly match fit. This was exactly the situation faced by Poch and Jose is treading the same path. Dier, Lo Celso, Dele, Davies, NDombele, Kane, Lamela, Winks, Sissoko, Aurier Son and Vertoghen have all been injured, many crucially from the start of the season. Those football manager players amongst us, called continually for players to be used who just weren't fit. NDombele is the prime example. Did he come from a jog trot league to the EPL? Did that competition tax him less physically? Are some of his problems also psychological, a modern day 'Ralph Coates' struggling to deal with the big club, big city syndrome. Mourinho has alluded to complex issues with the player. If he says the player only has 15 minutes in him we better believe it. In the medium term NDombele remains a wonderful prospect, his unorthodox balance literally throws opponents off. Few have doubts of what he might eventually offer. We all just need to pay attention to what is happening right now.

Great post.

Its strange not hearing anything from NDombele about the situation,we only hear from Mourinho or before him,Poch. Maybe NDombele should himself honestly say where he is at and what he is looking to do and the timeframe

The last thing he should be doing is speaking to the press and giving them a chance to make this into a bigger story by twisting his words and making out there's conflict between him and Jose.

I'm intrigued to see how long he plays for this weekend. Jose said he could only play for however many minutes midweek, but was that because he wanted him to start against Chelsea and he can't play two games in such a short period of time, or is this genuinely his level at the moment and he can only manage cameo appearances?

. He is superior Mourinho tactics are park everyone behind the ball then play a long ball to the forward. These are the exact same tactics Dyche, Pulis and Allardyce play I have not seen anything while he is Spurs or Utd manager that shows any difference. If he did not have the trophys and a little bit of charisma he would be lucky to be a premier league manager
Ridiculous - nothing more needs to be said to that post

To start Ndombele or not to start Ndombele ? Jose is a winner and if Ndombele was good to go he would definitely be starting .
So from the outside and what you can see with my own eyes I would say he is right not to pick Ndombele .
Its such a shame that Lamela seems unable to play game after game as his fitness seems to let him down for myself I think it is his commitment that lets him down as he always plays to the maximum and therein lies the danger of knocks and overstretching.
I have said many times on this site that commitment aligned with talent is what wins games .
I just wish Ndombele could find that commitment that would help him get fully fit .
The little I know about football tells me that for all the great skilled players when it comes to winning you must have committed gritty players to give the flair players the room to do there stuff .

Regardless of coming from a lesser league, he's still a professional, elite athlete.

It's been seen countless times when foreign players can't handle the speed of the English game, and as such their performances aren't up to previous standards, however this doesn't seem to be the case. When 'fit' he dominates the midfield and has looked unbelievable.

But how a professional athlete, training daily for the last 8 months can't be fit enough to last more than half an hour is unacceptable, regardless of injuries.

He's got the potential to be an absolute superstar and one of the most exciting midfielders we've ever seen, but not if the application isn't there.

It's like buying a ferrari but only being able to put a quids worth of fuel in. Amazing when it's working, but frustrating when it's not usable

How the fuck do you get a winner star rating for posting

Great Post

I’m getting fed up with this site. The quality of poster ratings is really starting to piss me off. If people cannot rate constructively or actually rate the original poster with the star rating etc then I’m not sure I really want to be here and I worry about our fan bases negativity

Get behind the ratings properly

Have to say “if he didn’t have the trophies he would be lucky to be a Premier League manager” is probably the most hilarious post on this site in at least a few years ?.

Just post something 'lit' you'll get all the good ratings or post something 'against the flow of thinking' and you'll get all that salty spam :hungry:

ndombele needs to pull his finger out. This is looking like a colossal waste of cash as we sit here right now.

That Allardyce and Pullis were bloody lucky to keep getting premier league jobs. If they hadn’t kept all those different small clubs up year after year some fighting well above their weight

Let’s be honest how did Jose even get his coaching badges just lumping it up the pitch. Anyone can do that. Born lucky is all

The whole ratings thing is not meant to be taken seriously and if it is it shouldn't be.
What do you care if Tony from Slough thinks thìs post is spam or another post is a winner or, God forbid, you're talking shite?
Who the fk is Tony? Who cares?
Some on here get far too worked up about it.
I post something last week I thought I would get slated for but got the opposite. Go figure.

He played I think 70 minutes a game for Lyon constantly I believe, its not the same league but still does this all make sense. It seems to me that NDombele puts all his efforts into attacking. He doesn't seem to want to engage on the defensive side. It cant be any kind of fear, not the way he dribbles. He is a bit of an enigma and yet he is a figure actually with presence in midfield. He is always making himself available for a pass, always looks for space and looks to develop the play. Really I find it all baffling and beyond his fitness. I almost want him to just help us score more goals than the other team and use that as the bellweather mark rather than look for an all round game.
I watch him,he rarely tackles, but he constantly dribbles and passes in a flash,he huffs and puffs coming back but with the ball is like a lightening rod. Never seen this before in my life

Ha. I was just thinking exactly the same. I got more winner rating than the original post.

Mind boggling isn't it.

As you can see I have made many posts over the years but in that particular case I wanted to show my support for the comment "Great Post" and in so doing also supporting the post it referred to.

Agreed. It is very weird. Honestly, it is one of the weirdest situations I've seen a player in. Ledley was weird - how he couldn't train but was the best player every Saturday, and the first game back after 18 months out he was immense. But this just boggles my mind.

What on earth is going on???

I can't help thinking its something really odd for a professional like he's developed some kind of chronic fatigue syndrome. But you've got to say, ultimately it is unacceptable. The season is 6 months in and something has to change quickly.
