Would take off Sess for Parrot. He might not be good enough yet but at least we would actually have a focal point up front. We may need him in the months to come.

Judging only by that half of football I'd actually have fancied my chances at putting in a better peformance than Son or Lucas that half, and I'm shite. Get Troy on and get some bloody shape in the final third instead of this shite.

N'dombele won't come out in the 2nd half. Just watch

he’s going to go down as one of our biggest ever transfer mistakes soon. If he doesn’t pull his finger out I wouldn’t be surprised if we tried to recoup our money in the summer To spend elsewhere.

In an all round clownish performance special mention to Hugo for somehow thinking he should stay on his line for that Ings chance. If you don't laugh you'll cry

Wtf was all that? Son, moura and a number of others simply forgotten how to control a football? Never mind a simple passing triangle. Terrible stuff from so called pro's.

Except u cant forget what you never had

Parrot and skipp on for Dier and Sess. Put Son left Moura right and give them ten minutes to see if they remember they have teammates and decide which one can stay on and replace the other with Alli (yes they've been that bad)

Need something different as it's too static all over the pitch and disjointed

If you don’t match an opposing team for desire and intensity then you will never win any game. We have been 2nd best in every position tonight and there are no excuses for that!!

The attacking players can't take decisions. The midfielders can't keep the ball. That's not been the story of this half, it's been match after match now.

Add in this evening that Lloris is also suffering from decision-itis, taking the wrong choice four times, the last of which cost us an equaliser.

But I'm more concerned about Son. WTF has happened to him? He seems paralysed, incapable of deciding whether to shoot or pass - and he does neither. Over and over, for weeks now, he takes up a good position, collects the ball and runs toward the goal, only to spurn multiple opportunities to let it fly and ignore any chances to pass it to a well placed teammate. Inevitably, he finds himself surrounded by 3-4 defenders and he loses the ball. It happened multiple times against Man City and in previous games and he's done it at least four times, perhaps more, this evening.

In the absence of Kane as a calming, organising influence, we need Son and Lucas to look up, take swift decisions and let their shots off. But they both, especially Son, look constipated. They won't shoot and they won't pass, so they get closed down. There's no point in having pace if you can't decide what to do.

The 3-man defence isn't working either. Sessegnon is benefiting from it, but it's too porous when both wing-backs aren't covering properly.

Southampton are a good team - their league position is deceptive and they've been hard to play against for several months now. But we've been making it easy for them. They're passing rings around Dier and Ndombele (not Winks, who has been our only bright light so far) in midfield and stretching the back 3 at will. They should be 2 goals up by now.

I just don't believe sitting deep/long ball counter football is relevant anymore. I obviously stand behind Jose because he's our manager, and we have to see what next season holds, but I just do not like this type of football.
It does look pretty dated. Maybe it works if you have brilliant players who can capitalise on every chance and pick the right pass. However with no target man and the likes of Dier, Lucas and Son (on current form) we have no chance and are just inviting pressure.

We have absolutely no identity, no pattern, no real shape, no style and no hope under Jose. His tenure here will not end well. I have waited before I made any judgement of him, but unless Levy gives him £300m+ to spend as he likes in thd summer we're going nowhere with him as manager!!

Really frustrating that people like Parrott and Skipp havent started as we probably wanted to get a good grip on the game and bring them on later. Let's be honest could they have done any worse than that?

Hope Jose gives the team 10 minutes to improve and of not gets the kids on.

Carrying too many passengers today.

Jan is being targeted, all their best moments down his side. Sadly think he's done.

Dier, Ndombele and Sess struggling for form, fitness and/or confidence.

Lucas and Son making terrible decisions as normal.

Man we miss Lo Celso! Need to hope Dele can make an impact.

Love to see Jose bench son and sub himself on up front. Just thick as fuck up top. Lucas just can’t beat a player one on one. Time and again just runs down a cul-de-sac. Unbelievably frustrating.

Look at our goal... Sessegnon, pass and move which eventually led to the goal.

Whereas Moura and Son... head down and run into a blind alley with the ball or without... either stand there like a lemon or make a half arsed run.

Would like to see Fernandes and Lamela in second half for Dier and Vertonghen who are two of the least mobile players I’ve seen for a long time and are now liabilities.
