Daniel Podence going to Wolves. Another Mendes client but that’s a cracking signing. Thought he gave us a lot of problems in the CL this season.

I know it's been discussed elsewhere and may even require a thread, but this Mendes Wolves situation is really something FIFA and UEFA need to have a look at. Surely there is some unethical conflict of interests there.

Cracking signing otherwise though, as have most of the signings they've made since the relationship with Mendes started.

Yeah I think it's a bit bullshit. Probably not breaking any rules but it's shady..

He was really good wasn't he. Quite stocky though. But I guess you've got to catch him first. Perfect for them on one of their wings.

He’s got a similar bodyshape to Hazard. Low centre of gravity, big arse he can shield the ball with, and a barrel chest.

One of those situations where they’ve found a loophole to exploit and are doing so, but you’d expect the authorities to make the necessary rules changes/additions to put a stop to it.

This is FIFA and UEFA that we’re talking about here though so we probably won’t see anything done about it.

However I must say, contrary to popular belief that these players would eventually move on for much higher fees but that hasn’t materialized yet. It’s surprising too me, but it’s for another thread so not going to derail any further.

Cavani handed in a transfer request according to PSG’s sporting director.
