Was over at a conference last week, and got into conversation with one of our French salesmen who is a Lyon season ticket holder.
Said Ndombele was a very hot and cold player, a couple of his Champions League performances were certainly his best games for the club, and doubts his fitness levels will ever be what is required for Premier League. He struggled to keep up with pace quite regularly in much slower French League.

He seems to think Moussa Dembele is the best player that has played for Lyon over last 5 seasons.
Interesting and certainly fits, but shall take with a pinch of salt. People round here were convinced trippier could replace walker and now believe Eriksen is useless.

Players breaking your heart does weird things to the mind. Not suprised at all that the star from last year is now considered 'hot and cold', whilst the best Lyon player of the last 5 years, still plays for Lyon.

Fat shaming a French international from your couches ,currently World Cup holders on top - give me a break lot of you, show some support and belief in the boy, he’s done very well a starter already ..the hell created a profile at 6 am even so frustrating!

From what I know about Mourinho I think Ndombele will struggle for minutes under him.
As some have stated, he clearly is supremely talented but gives me a bit of a lazy Özil vibe.
A lot of the times I've seen him for us he looks like he can't really be bothered in defence and if that continues he won't play much in the pivot for us.

Here snowflake...snowy snowy flakey.

Wow.....ok.

Not sure what you're so angry about but you need to relax.

Of course you will reply saying "I'm not angry, blah, blah, blah" but it's pretty plain to see from your wound up posts and calling people snowflakes for disagreeing with you, that you are.

Unless you have evidence of Tanguy's BMI or can show us video of you beating him a bleep test then frankly you're just spouting a load of bollocks based on absolutely nothing. Seems you have an agenda, which makes absolutely no sense and you appear to be completely on your own in your views of the player.

Maybe you enjoy arguing with people on the internet, so carry on if it suits you, but you certainly won't be convincing me, or anyone else I expect, that you're right.

He made 49 club appearances last season and completed 90 minutes in 34 of them. Maybe a little bit below what you might expect but not really that far off what most players would hit over a season.

Agree, but I’m sure there were reports before we signed him that during his earlier career he had motivational and fitness issues, so I don’t think we should dismiss it entirely.

Not worth worrying about at the moment though.

I'm not angry blah blah blah.

Lets hope NFatty pulls his finger out and matches his talent. Seems like there might be a few tears and angry twitter posts if he isnt.

Merry Christmas.

Enough beef for a good barbecue in this thread.

Maybe I shouldn’t be mentioning food in an Ndombele thread though... :cautious:

Fucking hell.
The lad is 22, has just moved to a new country and doesn't yet speak the language. On top of that he's had a couple of niggling injuries, breaking up any chance of getting a run in the team.
We don't have any idea about how he applies himself, so just be a bit patient with the kid.
