Bloke in front of me says that Sonny's solo effort reminded him of Greaves' goal against Man Utd, which he was there for.
7 assists as well at the start of December. A part of his game that I always had a gripe with.
Can we all agree the man is world class?
Sadly, there were no cameras to record the greatest goal ever scored.

That’s the one. You and I were amongst the 27,000 privileged few.v Leicester. I was there and I remember it well. Nobody could catch him and he gently slid the ball under the very young Shilton. There was a picture in the Sunday papers of the carnage Greavsie left behind him as he slid the ball into the net, with defenders on the ground looking behind them in awe having failed to get the ball off our little maestro. God bless him.
.
Said a few weeks back that he was on the same level as Mane and Salah but I guess because we weren't playing well as well and low and confidence it was easy to poo poo it, guess that's what happens when you see stuff from a myopic viewpoint. @Primativ what are you saying now?

I was there for that but my memory always tells me it was against Man United. Age I suppose. That’s the one. You and I were amongst the 27,000 privileged few.
Two months of really poor performances?? I agree there has been the odd game but really?Still massively disagree. He’s just not on the same level as those two and any reasonable football fan would tell you that. The key reason is consistency.
Mane is probably Liverpool’s most important attacker and has been for a while. His stats and consistency are simply phenomenal.
Son needs consistency. He is too streaky, he looks world class one week and pretty abject the next. We’ve just had about two months of really poor performances from Son, which happens every season, he then puts in a great performance yesterday and you can’t wait to compare him to Mane and Salah again? Sorry no. I would say Salah can equally be quite inconsistent but has a higher level than Son, but Mane, has been putting on consistently high performances for two years now.

Mane isn't hitting the same consistency playing in our side, that's kinda the point. If Son played for Liverpool you'd see him hitting consistent numbers.
His numbers are consistent already though? Unless you're arguing he would get better numbers at Liverpool but I doubt it because the front three they have play with sensational chemistry. Firmino has only scored four goals all season but they wouldn't trade him for anyone.
I think Son is our best player to watch and our most naturally talented player. I think there is a point that however he is streaky as a goalscorer. If you look at the period Kane was injured last season, Son was the main man and relishing it, ran Man City ragged, then it all came to a halt. But then I don't think he scored again after the City second leg.
