With Son's goal in mind, here's some Greavsie Nostalgia Jimmy Greaves
Loved looking at that, he was scoring goals back then that people think they can only score these days with billiard table pitches and Featherlight balls. He was an absolute one off phenomenon. On Sonny's goal yesterday I'm in the park lane to the right of the goal so my view of the goal was head on he picked it up and ran straight towards me, absolutely stunning, I actually saw the instant he thought fuck it I'm going for it myself and it was like his whole body sprang forward in an instant. So glad I was there.

I'm arguing that he'd put in more consistent performances at Liverpool, @Primativ argument is that he doesn't see Son on the same level of Salah and Mane and I'm saying that if these players swap teams you'll see a better output for Son and Liverpool and worse for Mane/Salah at Spurs.

Exactly. If Son was in the Liverpool team he'd be outdoing Mane, he actually has more pure footballing ability imo.

Our structure isn't as good as Liverpool's and it stands to reason he'd be better in a set up where the midfield is more efficient and, in particular, benefit from the phenomenal attacking full backs and the space they create for others.

Son is as elite player now, and once JM sorts out the fundamentals, he'll hit that level of true consistency.

Yeah incidentally I was just thinking about this the other day and I think he's on tier 3 alongside Mane and Salah, Sterling - Arguably World Class/debatable either way.

Tier 2 being Bale, Neymar, Hazard, KDB, Kane Lewandowski, Mbappe, Aguero

Tier 1 being the obvious two.

Bale hasn’t been at that level for a while, Hazard has never got there, far too inconsistent.

Due to his circumstance and his team, not his ability - he's still elite. It's the same thing for Son, he's hasn't played well because his team haven't been consistent.

Disagree on Hazard, he's shown that he deserved to be put alongside Neymar who in fact has been more consistent than him in better leagues.

I doubt any Korean players will join Arsenal while Wenger's in charge. I heard that Wenger's treatment of Park Chu Young, who at the time was national team's most important striker, angered many Korean fans and created a backlash against Arsenal. It was really a bizarre signing for Arsenal, which never seemed to fancy him right from the beginning.

Haha

Another bellend, reported in the Athletic.

Teenager evicted from Burnley end for racist abuse

One of the the elements that surprised anti-racism campaigners most regarding the abuse from Manchester City fans towards the Manchester United midfielder Fred at the Etihad on Saturday was how it happened right in front of stewards who did not act.

This contrasts with another incident that happened this weekend at Tottenham vs Burnley, where a teenage fan in the away end was ejected from his seat after racially abusing Son Heung-min. The stewards at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium had received training from Kick It Out earlier that day and spotted and dealt with the offence swiftly.
