Clueless are the people who think Toby can do no wrong
There is not a centre half in the world that beats aguero to that ball.

The ball shouldn't get there. That's too level football.

Saw the same thing last week at West Ham. Diop couldn't get back in cos of walker's pace. Jesus gets in front of the other defender. The striker will make that run 10 times a games on the off chance the front post CB will be out of position. The defender should be there

Poch being exposed. Ridiculous.
Think he'd know by now to put Sissoko in the middle and not out wide.

So much overreaction in here. They're a world class side who we know are much better than us and they're showing that right now (not to mention we're without Son, Alli and the likes of Ndombele and Lo Celso are yet to settle).

They'll likely beat us but why the drama?

Controversial but I think KWP was ok in that half. Left constantly exposed by Sissoko with an overload on the right.

When did I miss Eriksen leaving for Real Madrid?
Not convinced at all re Sanchez.
Stop fucking about passing out from the back and stop giving it to Lloris to lump aimlessly.

Get Moura and Lo Celso on asap please.

Apart form that all good:)

winks needs to be taken off. He could have watched the game at the bench or any seat in the stadium. We need two big and agile guys like sissoko and Ndombele to stop their attacks

Positives - still in it
Negatives - lol

Hopefully we see positive changes at half time and not another Poch brain fart of bringing on more defenders.

Revert to the 2nd half formation against Villa - Sissoko, NDombele, Eriksen with Moura on for Winks or go for it and bring both Moura and Lo Celso on (Sissoko/Lamela and Winks).

Sissoko poor, Sanchez shocking at LCB, Eriksen has zero fucks to give. Some things never change.

Does he ever pick the right starting XI nowadays?

Seems like we are always hoping he changes things at half time. He seems to fuck up starting selections and systems more often than not.

But I guess it’s not how you start it’s how you finish.

I don’t expect any subs at half time, he will tweak the system a bit and see what sticks.

Just remember we are always shit in the first half. The fact that we’ve already scored a goal is a bonus.

I just can't believe how much space we afford them to cross. Ok so they're expert at exploiting the zonal marking 'gaps' between covering midfielder and full back but honestly, how fucking hard is it to pick up a man. You give guys like De Bruyne, Sterling and Bernardo Silva time and space to cross and they'll put it right on the money every fucking time.

It's ridiculous to make it that easy for them.

Part of me wonders if Poch is deliberately hustling opposition. Play a crap formation and slow, plodding football and then mix it up 2nd half just when the opposition think they have us worked out.

At least that's what I'm hoping for!

All too predictable. City have better players than us, but if the team isn't set up right then it wouldn't matter if ours were better. Any time we play a back four against a team whose front five play like City's we struggle. Last year was when we went with a back five it was easily our best performance against them. But we revert back to this same shit of asking our back four players to deal with five players. Winks and Ndombele are about as useful as a chocolate teapot to use defensively, and none of it's their fault.
