I feel if we can't shift him today it will be difficult to bring in another forward, he's a bad egg and I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed and then trained with the reserves like he did at Man City. It's obvious that AVB dosn't rate him and if he truly wants to play football (which i doubt) and it's not just all about the money then he should have gone by now.

I think its pretty clear AVB is not keen on him, hardly surprising after Adebayors poor effort and commitment last year.

SSN have just said that Adebayor himself has said he isn't going, I think Levy and ABE want to move him on, but sounds like he is keen to stay put.

I've still not forgiven Ade for his outrageous and disgraceful penalty run-up and Miss last season.

That said everything about his attitude and what kind of pro he is.

Get him gone.

Would rather Defoe went than Ade....
A motivated Ade is a far better option

Can't end up with Bobby S , JD and Harry Chuffing Kane surely !!

I agree, but I have a feeling he is one that is going to sit and take the money :(

A motivated Ade would such an asset in our newly formed squad. Surely a professional player would see the potential that we now have and would want to be a part of it. Hopefully his persnal problems will have shaken some sense into him?

As seen by Adebayor several times in the past he is not a professional player.

Yes that was a rather optimistic use of the word. Maybe I should have said that someone who likes earning obscene amounts of money playing football for a living would like to play alongside other supremely talented players.(y)

If he wants to stay then something should be done to get him motivated and playing, we're not in a position to waste that amount of wages on someone to train with the kids

I dont think he is the perfect striker for anything when most of the time he cant even be bothered!
No I don't go with this at all....Last year he was supposed to be playing this roll and he drifted all over the place hiding as much as he could.

I would mind if he was a goal poacher who was a bit lazy but came alive in the box, but he isnt even that, c*** attitude, beyond poor work ethic and a laughable goal return for a striker last season, he needs to be one of the first out the door. Although those attributes don't bode well for it actually happening!

Yeah and if you could train cows to kill farmyards would be very dangerous.

I'm not a Ade fan but if we can't get anyone else in then we have to keep him. I worry whether he will be motivated which is such a shame as I believe he would have made a big diffrence yesterday, as he could link up with Soldado far better than Defoe ever can.
