There is a cracking player in there somewhere. It is up to the coaching staff to get him motivated and firing on all cylinders.

I'm aware he has had a death in the family however I've hardly seen anything of him this season - anyone know his current status and whereabouts?

A motivated Ade?

In games, that's few and far between. Ade will only be motivated if he is the team "TOP DOG".
(Ok, he is motivated by Super big $$$ too)
There are so many solid players in the Team now and he definitely is behind Soldado.

Sell or loan him out! No love loss!

IF he's still on the payroll - time for the club to get him some games out of him.

It's called managing players - unless you do it the Mancini way, have a row with big players and tell them to "foxtrot oscar".

No AVB should get Ade on side and get the big bugger playing.

We can say you are no longer in the manager plans (which may well have happened) but thats about it, if he still decides to stay thats it. The SSN reporter said this morning they had spoken with the player (not the club) and that he said he is not going anywhere.

I think in a lot of ways he would be an ideal strike partner for Soldado. Adebayor can drop off, link up play etc whilst Soldado is right up top poaching. Seems much better than pairing Soldado and Defoe as we saw yesterday.

But my point was that we can't force him out if he doesn't want to go. And nor should we expect to be able to.

I agree - contracts should be binding and players should not be able to throw a strop to leave.

Adebayor is a very, very good player IF we can get him playing. He is certainly better than Leandro at the moment. The main problem I had with him last season was that he kept drifting to the left wing. But let us remember that we were as lacking in creativity then as we are now and perhaps he wasn't prepared to sit up front and wait for the ball? I honestly think that all of our players will benefit from having more creative players in the team and we may see an improved Ade.

If he stays AVB must reintergrate him with the squad, get him fit, get him motivated and get him playing.

If only we had a fit Ade out there yesterday - the match was perfect for him. I really want to keep him and pair him with Soldaldo for these type of game. On form he is one of a few who can unlock defences.
