Time we as a club be ****s to others. Now Bale is on the verge, 'actually no we want another £10 million Perez... Why not?' The ball is firmly in our court. Sick of being messed around/pushed around by other clubs. Levy should start moving the goalposts for our benefit.

Good idea. Hope Levy sign you as his personal assistant.

My man said tonight that the deal should of been done and even though chealski made the offer it may have been to late
That being said the goalposts were definitely trying to be moved.
Here is hoping that is was to late for the agent to move the posts

If there is anything untoward, we wil be suing the feck out of everyone - and rightly so

Problem is there's not much we can do in a case like this. Willian isn't our player and, until we own his registration, Anzhi and his **** agent can tout him to every club in the world. If everything was signed before Chelsea threw themselves in the mix then it's a whole different ballgame and we won't need to sue anyone as we already own the players registration.

No Willian move, No Bale move.

Six simple words. And I'd be juuuuust fine with Bale and Lamela. Fuck you Anzhi. Fuck you Kia. Fuck you Chelsea. And most of all, fuck you Madrid. Spurs hold all the cards and Levy doesn't flinch.

And lol and any of the other PL teams who think Bale kicking up a stink would sway Levy even a little. I doubt Levy would even bother yawning at such an idea of insolence.

The only way Spurs come out losers in all of these interconnected deals is if Lamela and Willian get hit by a comet after Bale is sold.

Bottom line, we don't want to be fucked over by some crazy agent who thinks he controls the football world. If Willian's attitude to Spurs and friendship with AVB are worth nothing and the guy just wants a robot agent who gets the best money offer then he can fuck off.

I fear we will sell Bale, we will get in Lamela and then be left rummaging around for a number 10 instead of Willian but end up with another Siggy-esque deal. A good squad player but not one to elevate us into loftier positions.

Not sure how advanced it can be if RM aren't budging on price.

I supposed advanced in the sense that Bales head has been turned, he's getting ready for life in Madrid etc.. As in, the only thing that remains is the price. Levy can still pull the plug, but RM agreeing to our price looks more likely. I don't know, but that's what I imagine it to be like anyway.

Good point.

Also, its why I asked the question earlier - not to JJ by the way, just generally in here...when he said they weren't prepared to budge on price, it doesn't mean much without us knowing how far they are off. How big the gap is in valuations etc.

I mean if we are demanding 90 and they won't budge on 85, as things stand currently, its going to get done lets be honest.

If they were offering 65, for example, they'd be a long way off.

So, I'm guessing it is more likely to be advanced - like JJ is saying now.

I think at the very least we'll end up with Lamela and Eriksen which I could just about accept. But I would so prefer Willian.

Edit, I couldn't lol....need Willian, or won't be happy.

Has anyone heard more about installments if the Bale deal goes through? £85 mill without any players may be OK if it's a flat payment but if its stretched out over four or five years, then I think there is reason to be disappointed, especially if Willian does fall through.

Re: Galahad the Gnome (equivalent to the Goat here)

"A scroll arrived from the warty one.

"The same number forward, but one fewer back, than Abdul."

Looks like gibberish to me, but I'm told it aligns with POTL and hertyid's snippets, and contradicts the information from Atlanta Yid and Ali Z. Time will tell.

Thanks, as ever, to Galahad's sources.

(debate as to whether its ref: to Paula Abdul song "Opposite attract" & line with lyric 'two steps forward...two steps back').

Looks like RM is trying to keep it below £80m so that Ronaldo is still the Big Man. Can't see Levy agreeing to that whatever the payment structure.
