That last tweet bit from JJ makes no sense. Deal is advanced but RM can't meet our valuation? If Madrid can't meet Levy's price and structure, he won't sell. Simple as that. Bale won't kick up a storm. Maybe Perez would since he's a schmuck. And Barnett probably would to since all he gives a shit about is getting the money from this deal. Levy hasn't given into their shit yet. No reason to believe he will now. Real Madrid not being able to meet our valuation renders any "advancement" of a deal meaningless.

To me, it means, RM are going back on the offer of world record. During this time, tabloid reports published the deal proposed by Perez was 78mPounds in a single payment, well below the previous said. While there was ITK b4 that we would accept a lower fee if it is in one payment or far higher fee if its in installment. The point of contention could be whats the magic number for a single payment structure.

I can see Perez using dirty tactics by leaking Bale shirt thing in their web followed by a low offer to make us succumb. After all this worked for Perez last window, when his website team added Modric profile in the team and then said it was technical error like they are saying now. We sold him low to them because he is kicking up big fuss.

May be Perez calculation is by taking the deal so far down the line, Bale may jhave been sold the dream and go kicking & screaming if Levy is not lowering the fee.

If this theory is true, I really dont know what Levy mindset is. Do we really have cash to survive without Bale money. We may have , but will Levy take the risk of pulling out of the deal ? NO IDEA.

You know what we talking about Ozil here mean right? Tomorrow headlines on dailystar will be "Shock Ozil+50 million for Bale swap deal".

Where have all the rating icons gone?..........................................................

Server load was too high. Too make it light, I guess Rob removed some of these luxury things. With the kind of day we had , I doubt we will get back the full site for another 5 days.

Wakes up at 3:30am to crying child, first thought is.."I wonder what's been going on in the ITK thread" has my life come to this?

I'm still baffled by the days events. Willian nailed on, oh no he is going to Chelsea. Oh no wait he is coming to spurs. No no Chelsea have definitely trumped us. Nope he's ours again (repeat another 10 times)

And now I see JJ says RM are playing silly buggers with the bale deal? Fuck them I say, keep Bale and get Lamela in. Sorted.

God this window if funking exciting!!!!

Levy should publicly say we are ending the special relationship with RM and demand publicly RM pay up 100 million pounds in cash in 3 working days or we'll have nothing to do with them regarding Bale.

Agreed. Then we release our third kit with him standing in it, bring in a quality CAM, and get on with what looks to be a fantastic season.

well well well, perhaps Perez looked into the piggybank and saw 50 million quid, an old condom with a use by date going back to Ronaldo's transfer from Manure, a worn stub from a ticket to the bull fights and a bit of stale chorizo and went Oh Shit - I better stitch the deal up with Ozil and Coentrao. Wouldnt that be luverly! I'd take that. Ozil must be worth northwards of 40 million quid on his own.

Reading the shed end, they seem more pissed off with the willian rumours than we are. Mostly because they think it would mean mata in part exchange for rooney which to them doesn't make sense with the players they have and the money it would cost.

I can't say I blame them. Mata is quality, so why on earth would they want to strengthen Man Utd by taking their backup striker(Rooney) off them and give them one of, if not the best, creative midfielders in the league?

I seriously can't make sense of it. Alright, if Jose isn't pleased with the forwards at his disposal (Lukaku, anyone??) it makes sense for them to buy a forward. Why buy a midfielder (Willian) so they can trade another, proven midfielder (Mata) for a striker?

My head hurts now.

Just watched the highlights from last night, made me think back to how Bale got into the team in the first place, could missing out on Willian be the making of Townsend? Different kind of player I know, but the little cross on to Paulinos head was class. Just a thought

I think Mata is like Bale to Spurs.... a game changer. If they sell Mata, its really a bad business.... and I hope so. :)
