The subject of this post is TWATS...

I don't want us to deal with twatty clubs who don't know how to conduct themselves correctly (Real or Anzi, depending on what has actually really happened)

I don't want us to attempt to sign or keep twatty players who really couldn't give a fuck if they play for spurs.

We shouldn't stand for twat agents who fuck us around on deals, & whore their clients around despite an agreement, or agents who whore our players around during the summer break despite a considerable time remaining on their contract. The fewer players with agents like that on our books the better.

I want decent wholesome hard working players, proud to be yids.

Best possible outcome tomorrow is today's reported events are bollocks, in comes Willian, lamela, & bale stays cause Madrid can't/won't stump up the cash. If not so rosey I'd prefer lamala to willian, due to the aforementioned club/agent/player twattiness reasons.

As a side note, though a bit goofy, bale was such a nice honest, hard working, wholesome lad. What he did last year on the pitch was amazing, to the point that as an individual he is irreplaceable (like a Ronaldo or messi). As a team we can replace anyone though. Anyway, the side note being (as this post is about twattiness), having observed some things this summer i fear that our gaz, the decent, wholesome, hard working, honest young lad we've had the pleasure of knowing these last 5 or so years, is changing. Evidence includes pictures with man bags & backwards caps, heart 11 trademarks (is he going to sue lamela if he comes in & takes his 11 shirt, scores the winner against the scum, then hearts to the camera in a way that insiders can only translate as flipping bale the birdy) & clothing ranges. Also dubious lame injuries lasting the transfer window & a suspected too good for the team & my team mates attitude. I sense an identity crisis of a young man, and that the last season went to his head... or I sense a full on TWAT!

Given the benefit of the doubt, I would like him to stay, knuckle down, perhaps reign in an over inflated ego, prove to the world he can produce consistently over a number of seasons, & get some gentlemanly advice on style so he stops dressing like some boyband wanker.

Real men like real teams with real players & real principles. Fuck Madrid. They should have the "Real" stripped from their name, or swap "Madrid" out to replace with "Fucking Twats" (applicable to Zidane & Perez especially, but all their big-head players too). What a whore of a club with truly pungent footballing philosophies & policies.

I think at the very least we'll end up with Lamela and Eriksen which I could just about accept. But I would so prefer Willian.

Edit, I couldn't lol....need Willian, or won't be happy.
hahahah i was thinking the same thing as your edit too. eriksen is great and would put chances on a plate for soldado and lamela but willian is something else.

i really hope we get positive news tomorrow and it was all a bluff by kia to get an extra 1m or something from us.

I'm not nearly as excited over the prospect of Bale staying as I was a couple of weeks ago. From all we hear it sounds as though head his completely gone now and that a future with Spurs is no longer something that he wishes to contemplate. I'm sure he'll be professional and that he'll play relatively well, but with him coming so close to this dream move of his only for it to fall through I wouldn't be surprised if his form is significantly effected. Last season he looked happy and he was brilliant as a result. I fear that an unhappy Bale will be a level below.

Possibly, but I don't think that would be good for "Brand Bale". Bale seems very ambitious to me, so he'll force himself to
get over it.

I fear we will sell Bale, we will get in Lamela and then be left rummaging around for a number 10 instead of Willian but end up with another Siggy-esque deal. A good squad player but not one to elevate us into loftier positions.
Before I would've said that we'd be just fine with a guy like Sig in the hole, but now that we've been tickled with the Willian feather it'd feel like a letdown.

Don't sleep on Holby in that role if a Willian deal doesn't come to fruition. Guy has an eye for a pass on him. Not sure about his shot though.

I'd prefer Holtby further back tbh.

This isn't a slight on the talents of Holtby, Sigurdsson or Townsend - Bale's just such a fantastic player that we require two players to replace him.

I doubt he'd stay unhappy for long when he's feeling the benefits of being the undisputed top dog, as part of a great team, in the best league in the world.

Unfortunately he's probably already gone and we'll be replacing him with somebody I've never heard of who will be sold to Sunderland just over a year from now for under £10m. Gaaaa.

Has anyone been paying attention to any of our transfers/windows? It's always going to be drama, we're fucking spurs!

Bring on the next stage of the rollercoaster, i'm buckled in and ready to scream.

Re: Galahad the Gnome (equivalent to the Goat here)

"A scroll arrived from the warty one.

"The same number forward, but one fewer back, than Abdul."

Looks like gibberish to me, but I'm told it aligns with POTL and hertyid's snippets, and contradicts the information from Atlanta Yid and Ali Z. Time will tell.

Thanks, as ever, to Galahad's sources.

(debate as to whether its ref: to Paula Abdul song "Opposite attract" & line with lyric 'two steps forward...two steps back').

Anyone know what this is pertaining to ?

I do think that if Willian doesn't pan out and Bale goes with us getting Lamela, we could still pluck out an exciting player from somewhere. He wont be as ready as Willian, but he may have similar or even higher potential. With Baldini and AVB doing their thing this summer, I don't think we will go down the Dempsey route of panic buys. We are more likely to go spend a nice wad on an 18-20 year old somewhere, who has a high potential.

Adryan at Flamengo ?
Vadillo at Betis ?
Fischer at Ajax ?
Leandro Paredes at Boca ?

Either that or there are some other more developed players out there we could get like Gaitan ?

I was trying to figure that out also. At first I thought it was literal, so Real Madrid #9 (same number forward) and #8 (one fewer back) were coming to us in the deal....but that would mean Benzema and Kaka haha. I am clueless on Abdul (well all of it really).

Paula Abdul did have a song called Opposites Attract (2 steps forward, 2 steps back are lyrics) doubt this has any relevance. SO in short...I don't know shit.

I read it as either 2 steps foward (Willian & Lamela in), one step back (Bale buggering off). I guees it could also mean 2 steps forward (Bale staying, Lamela in), 1 step back (Willian buggering off)

Either way it's damn catchy

That last tweet bit from JJ makes no sense. Deal is advanced but RM can't meet our valuation? If Madrid can't meet Levy's price and structure, he won't sell. Simple as that. Bale won't kick up a storm. Maybe Perez would since he's a schmuck. And Barnett probably would to since all he gives a shit about is getting the money from this deal. Levy hasn't given into their shit yet. No reason to believe he will now. Real Madrid not being able to meet our valuation renders any "advancement" of a deal meaningless.

Ok here's my take.

I am more interested in what Prof says about info matching with POTL, HertYid and not with Atlanta & Aliz

Going back,

ITK 318 by POTL say SSN reports are joke
ITK 324 by Hert say deal is done, chelsea dont 'want' him
ITK 330 by Hert again reiterates Chelsea dont want him and deal is done (in bold)

ITK 322 Alli Z & ITK 323 & 333 by Atlanta says there was a Chelsea bid accepeted by Anzhi

Goat is unclear, Ben says no chelsea interest & Journalist says Paperwork sent off awaiting approval but agent is complicating...

The point of contention betwen POTL, Hert & Atlanta,Aliz seems to be 'the validity of said Chelsea bid'.

I don't think we have the pull to get Ozil. I'd absolutely love it, though (obviously).
True, I was just talking more in terms of deciphering the message using Bale going (11) and (10) coming our way. I agree it would be a stretch to think Ozil would come. Here's to wishful thinking though :)
