Just a quick update. Livermore has defo gone Hull. Unfortunately we're still paying most of his wages.

I'd rather we shell out and he actually gets game time than have him sat around on our bench and still pay him. Think a regular spell should really help us to assess whether he's a keeper in the long term.

He's not even particularly good in midfield and now you want to put him in goal??

Good to see him go. Never fulfilled his potential and we've moved on as a squad. Hope he does well but wouldn't put money on It

Sorry to pester you but have you heard anything about what position he's being loaned to play? Everyone's assuming DM but i thought he was moved to CB by AVB?

Think that was just the one off. There was itk that we would use him in defence this year but now he's gone you'd have to say that was misinformed.

That's very harsh to a player who spent the best part of 2 seasons out injured, in fact he is still really coming back from those injuries. Don't get me wrong, it's time for him to move on. He needs to revive his carrier and maybe push for a place in the England squad, he simply won't get the chances at this club. Before getting injured, however, he was a mainstay in our midfield and was even linked with a move to Man utd such was his form, although clumsily. (http://metro.co.uk/2010/10/29/tom-h...er-uniteds-january-transfer-wish-list-566464/) It's funny how things change considering how silly that deal sounds today but when discussed on this forum most people were not so keen on any deal (http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/would-you-sell-huddlestone.66464/). It just goes to show how things change, as well as how short memories fans have.

Respect to Tom, but he was never going to fit into the AVB system, lacks pace and mobility (and always has) and i believe started life as a center half at Derby (i think).

In general a limited player who sprayed the odd good thirty yard pass, hardly a player who will contribute to making Spurs a top four perennial side.

Sentimentality has never won a team a Cup, or Championship. Honestly.

Livermore going to Hull on loan could actually work in our favour massively.

Huddlestone has certainly peaked in terms of value so its best to sell him a at a good price to Hull whilst maybe discouraging the interest from elsewhere. Doing so with the idea of loaning Jake who is still young enough to create an impression and increase value.

Lets be honest, Townsend went to QPR in a deal that ensured we got rid of Jenas. However now after that one season, non spurs fans talk about him in the 7-10m bracket. Great work by Levy.

I think that model is being followed here. Good deal all round

from the ITK we got from LLM it didn't sound one off. I don't have a quote but based off of how he worded it i remember thinking it was a permanent change. it could be possible we're giving him a loan out to get experience at CB a la Danny Rose last season whom got a loan out to a prem club at LB despite never playing there before.

Gutted Hud couldn't quite make the grade. Still think he's a great option from the bench but he needs to play first team to stand any chance of getting back into the England squad. Good luck Thud. Hull have made a great signing.
