Can I just say, from what Ive been told, the fact that Tom, Jake and Scotty have all but departed us, expect a bid for eriksen.

Wow that's a formality then after his comments about us being a great club :)

Huddlestone and Livermore have offers from clubs. Could/Should be gone by end of week

The Journalist right on the money.

Regarding the Journalist I've criticised him wrongly in the past I have to admit. However this window his info has been bang on. He didn't comment infer Benteke was even remotely near done when almost every other ITK was suggesting it was. Also info on Hudd and Jake was spot on like you said. Fair play to him.

Let's just hope he's right on Bale too

Edit: The Journalist also mentioned we were interested in Eriksen 2 weeks ago or so; ties in with Ryan's info.

Don't get this bid, won't complain as he's a good player just don't see how Holtby, Siggy and Eriksen would get the sufficient game time they would desire.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Roma directors Mauro Baldissoni and Walter Sabatini met with Tottenham counterpart Franco
Baldini in London on Wednesday to discuss signing of Pablo Osvaldo and Erik Lamela. Southampton are understood to also be in talks over Osvaldo.

Baldini doing work :)

POTL never jumped on the Benteke train too and instead was one of the first to moot Soldado as a legitimate target.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it but with all the talk if homegrown players, then wouldn't Holtby qualify as one of these as he is half English...
Sorry if it's already been discussed

he's had 36 apperances for the first team and an appearance for the english national team. there's probably some clauses in his contract that gave him a bump in salary after the national team appearance + a certain number of club appearances. in his case it doesn't really make sense because the national team appearance was a one off and he isn't a first team regular, but in most players those 2 goals would be a natural progression in their career and by that time would probably be worth the extra bump in wages.

His wage is merely 1.2% of our wage bill (67m from 2011 being my basis on that number). Fairly good ROI considering your numbers ;)

The other half is the one that matters in this case.

It's got nothing to do with nationality, otherwise that would be discrimination. It's to do with how many years the player has trained in England, has to be 3 prior to his 18th or 21st birthday I think and we need 8 of them. All this is based on Football Manager ofc...

In other news Luis Gustavo is rumoured to have signed for Wolfsburg. HA!
