I believe Ince is left footed and we have Townsend and Bale both left footed players that can play Orthodox wingers. I'd have preferred we buy a right winger as direct competition to Lennon.
As for Sigurdsson his done okey this season and I rather keep him and let Dempsey go. Sigg I think will be a better player in a midfield 3.

Bale is left footed but has been devastating coming in off the right, scoring some wonder goals. Lennon doesn't really have that when played on the left, nor can he cross very well when played on the left. So we do need an effective left sided player. We've lost Bale for that role. Sigurdsson isn't the answer though has done well. Ince perhaps can be that man.

If we bring in Villa or Aubameyang, I can't see us bringing in a young wide player as well, remembering that Lennon will likely drop out of the starting 11 and Townsend (who is better than Ince) will be 5th or 6th choice.

I think he's a decent player, I like that he isn't motivated by money but i don't think we are the right club for him.
Imo he could be a starter in another Prem team and flourish, i think he would get stuck on the bench for us.

Villa will not be a wide player for us. He prefers to play up front like he did for Valencia, and isn't going to drop from a team like FCB to Spurs, only to be forced out wide again.

I agree he wouldn't start for us, but training at our ground and with AVB would do him a lot of good. Probably 2 years away from being ready to start for us regularly. But what we wouldn't offer in immediate playing time, we could make up in development ability.
